The dynamic duo Jak and Daxter are back in an all-new adventure on the PlayStation 2 system that picks up the action where the previous trilogy left off. Whether battling Sky Pirates in a customizable aircraft or blasting Aeropeans, Jak and Daxter’s journey will take them beyond the edge of the Brink – and into a war bigger than they ever could have imagined. Packed with classic Jak and Daxter action, in it players can expect action and puzzle based platforming set both in the air and on land, open-ended mission gameplay, multiple classes of air vehicles that can be used both as transport and in dogfights, customizable “Eco” skills and a new powerful weapon, the Gunstaff.

    fun

Jack has been through a lot, adventures, torture, racing, and now…a change of development teams, they do a great job though, they respect the old series, but still change the gameplay mechanics quite a bit, flying has been thrown in the mix, replacing land driving. Jak has a staff that uses eco and doesn’t transform in this, which is a bit of a downer. Gunplay is also gone, and whenvever jak spins on a pole to launch himself forward in the platforming sections it no longer matters what angle you were facing Jak launches himself forward, showing that the developers didn’t quite get the point, still this is a great game, I won’t go into the plot, but it is a good one, as always. One hilarious thing I’ve noticed is that outside of cut scenes its pretty common for characters to get wall eyed, though it does get old and even obnoxious and distracting eventually.

  3. ElenaZboncak

fun game if you like the other games

  4. Joel Samek

I felt this game so far is an okay game but I really liked Jax 3 better than that lost frontier mainly because there are too many flying missions in the lost frontier. I thought the ease of controlling different characters in this game was very simple. The graphics were decent, and of course the story line has always been good with all Jax and Daxter games. The reason why I didn’t like all the flying was because the aircrafts are somewhat difficult to handle in some of the situations that a gamer is faced with.

    I miss jak and daxter

  6. Patrick Smith

Just as good as the others, Jak is back in this one with a little difference. This one revolves around actually flying around, not hovering. There were many gun mods, Eco powers, and armor. Plus, my personal favorite, you get your own set of planes which you can customize the weapons on and, when your flying, you can hack other planes. The only parts I didn’t care for were the Dark Daxter moments.

i bet this game in two day’s after i got it but i still wanting to know if there’s going to be anther one??? i hope so bc i relay like playing these tip of games

  8. bobby bristol

    very good

  9. Darryl Mastenbrook

    Great all around

  10. Brittany W

I rated this game 4 stars, because the storyline was a lot of fun and the characters were pretty cool, but the automatic camera angles would mess up (especially during a boss battle) and I would have a lot of complications.
