Little Nemo: The Dream MasterI like how the game begins with dialogue. It’s about Nemo needing to visit a princess, but Nemo being a little boy doesn’t want to because he doesn’t like girls yet! He can’t look beyond the fact she’s a girl so he’s against the idea, haha. Girls are weird according to a small boys point of view! Don’t worry Nemo she won’t bite! Go to her!The first level is called the Mushroom Forest. Giving monsters candy awards you a free ride. Yup, you can ride on top of animals by feeding them. Nice to know! You then see purple porcupines, flying skeletal monkeys and frogs as you collect keys on giant mushrooms. You’re now digging around and before you know it, riding on a blue dragon and climbing up walls with said dragon. You’ll see bats in a cave just before the waterfall too. Nice first stage.Level 2 is called Dream Garden. I like how the levels are called dreams instead of levels. I also like the purple background. Right from the beginning you’re encouaged to swim underwater to meet a friend. When you find this person (which is right away) he wants you to search for a lizard in a tree. You’re now on land dealing with upright-slithering snakes, flying skeletal monkeys and apes you can ride up tree branches (and deliver an adorable punch move!) Climb the tree and watch out for chomping skeleton heads floating down from white dandelion balls. Watch out for skeleton spiders, spikes and other things while riding the blue dragon too.As you ge.

I just realized that this is a CAPCOM game. I was like whoa…that makes sense. It has the Mega Man feel to it. Okay, this game IMO (In My Opinion) has medium difficulty. I wish I could say easy, but it is not. The first level is the easiest. I guess it’s suppose to parallel the movie

Little Nemo came out at a time when the NES was it’s hottest, along with a young Capcom (who had already had success with the Megaman franchise as well as a number of Disney Titles). The story behind Little Nemo is that Nemo is on an adventure through slumberland. With eight levels each one getting progressivly harder. Nemo is armed with Candy which can stun his foes and get certain animals on his side. From the Frog who increases his jumping ability to the Gorilla who is a powerhouse the game featured many things. Within each level (outside of the last) you had to gather a set # of keys in order to escape the level. In the final level Nemo, now armed with the Kings magic septer must square off against the Nightmare king and his villians. This game is a fun classic that did suffer a little from an insane difficulty, especially in level 3 where your on a speeding train. However if you are an NES fan to fanatic than this is definetly a must own title.

Loved this game as a kid. Now 20 years later is harder than I remembered but so excited to have my kids try to play

I had this game when I was younger and always loved it. The levels are hard-ish, even now, and the plot line is interesting. It looks awesome on a 50" screen, mine you, even if the 8bit pixilation is not something we’re used to seeing, anymore.Kids and parents in their 30s should both enjoy this retro game.PS. It doesn’t have a save feature, unless you’re using Game Genie – I had mine paused for a week, and it worked just fine. Old school.

This game is loads of fun, and has great art. Definitely worth buying and playing if you have a retro system to play it.
