Love this game. It brings back lots of memories. I specifically bought it just for the gunstar heroes. But have also been playing many of the other games like shining force. Honestly, I bought it for my son but it was an excuse for me to play it. Lol

This is a great collection of classic games and is well worth the price. I will say, playing with joycon in the grip feels snappier than playing with the pro controller. It seems weird but the weird separated D-Pad on the joycon and the smaller buttons seem to reduce whatever input lag most people are noticing. The pro controllers buttons are bigger and mushier and I think that’s what most people are noticing as input lag, that is, if that’s the controller they are using. I think I’ll end up getting a classic 8bitdo controller specifically for this game because their D-Pads are better than both of the above mentioned controllers. Overall, this is a great package for less than $30, the games run well and there is something here for everyone. The rewind, save states, and challenges bring this into the modern age and I suggest it for anyone looking for a physical copy of some of the best classic Sega has to offer. UPDATE: I bought a SF30 Pro from 8Bitdo and it’s amazing to play these games with and feels so much better, highly recommend.
Solid retro collection and a better alternative to the new sega genesis mini for anyone who already owns a switch. $80 is kind of steep in my opinion, for something that can only be used at home under your TV. Get this instead.
O this game brought back so many memories from my child hood… I love it and I play it almost everyday for about 15minutes. Man, those were the days

You may wanna learn how to count. There are 51 games on the collection. Although they did remove two games there are over 50 games on the collection. I was ready to go crazy on Sega until I counted the games. Lol. Anyways it’s still a great collection. Fairly in depth emulator settings for a console compilation. Lots of filters and sprite limit removal. You can even remap the buttons and all that. Heck of a lot better than the PSX classic. Lol. The interface is awesome! The games play great. This is also better than Nintendos nes games that you have to pay a monthly/yearly fee to play. Great job Sega. Docked a star for the exclusion of two great games. Could’ve removed virtua fighter if for some reason you had to but you removed two great games instead.

FUN. I played the originals back in the day and they haven’t lost their sparkle. A few games feel a bit wonky with a joystick, Landstalker especially, but it’s just a learning curve. Can’t wait to introduce my 7yr old to the real Sonic!

This is an EXCELLENT compilation, the retail price was ONLY $28, after 10% sales tax in my area & shipping, the games are ONLY $0.55 cents EACH !!! yes, there are some games I would have liked to see included, but considering what IS included, this is totally awesomeThe physical copy includes ALL games on the cart/disk, not like Capcom, half the games on cart/disk, download the others, so that was a bonus for ME. The extras like online play, challenges, and the instant, during gameplay save, 4 states PER GAME, REALLY Niiiiiice !!!You can play any game with a single Joy-Con controller, so you can play multiplayer on the go with friends from a single Switch, that’s cool too.The collection also translates very well to the big screen also, some of the extras allows you to change the quality of the resolution to look more “Retro”, but I like how it looks crisp on the Switch as isit is region selectable from the menu so language is not an issueDefinitely a must have for ANY game library and the price just proves it !!!This was a gift for a young girl at the “Make A Wish Foundation” and this company was a great help !!!

Great collection! Admittedly, I’m not a die-hard Sega fan, but there are some great gems here. Phantasy Star 4, Sonic 2, all three Streets of Rage, Shinobi 3, and the Shining Force series stand out for me. Easily worth the price for these games alone!
