This game is the perfect tale on bringing a new world to the DS. Although some parts of the game are more difficult then others, the whole game leaves me no choice but to give five stars.

I was looking for some inexpensive 3ds games for my new system and this one was in my price range. It’s pretty good, though I haven’t played a whole lot of it yet. It does really utilize the camera/3D aspects of the system though.

Unlike the last four Fatal Frame games you have to play this in a well lit room. It will be pretty hard to take pictures with your 3DS otherwise. The game tries to make your own room as the setting for this game. It will seem like ghost are actually in your room if your room is super grainy. Also, it will appear the ghost are no bigger then your waste basket. It is a fun game but the only problem is it’s too short. This game is worth getting just not for 40.00. Wait until the price drops to $15.00 to $20.00.

I’ve been looking for a good but inexpensive game for my new 3DS, this game was perfect. Fun new twist to using the systems camera and a creepy story is really fun.

I heard this game was like/related to the Fatal Frame series, and I LOVED all 3 games, the 4th being out of my reach sadly.But still, from what I’ve seen in the trailers. I believe this game will be scary and fun and any FF fan should love it.I know I’m looking forward to it getting here and being the first fame I use in my 3DS. ^_^

Arrived quickly and in perfect condition (still in original packaging) and the game is lots of fun even if I have to move around and stay in a brightly lit area. Overall I’m very happy with my purchase :)

Price wasn’t a factor for me since I got it locally for $12, it’s probably dropped even further than that.If you loved Fatal Frame, or you love the Japanese take on the spirit world, you’re going to love this game. Your only complaint will be that it isn’t longer. It’s very pretty, it’s very scary, and it’s great fun. Players who’ve seen Ringu will be wary when asked to take a photo of themselves, and for good reason.I purposefully drew out the length of the game by playing a chapter a night, it worked well and gave me a week of fun. There’s more to do then just the main story mode, too. If you love taking snaps of your friends with Fatal Frame-style screamer ghosts in them? It’s worth the price for that alone.For all those complaining about the camera not being able to read the book of shadows? Do a google search for it and download the pdf. Now you can use your computer, your tablet, or your laptop as the book–the light from the monitor is more than sufficient for the 3ds to read the image–and you can play in the dark, which is super fun! Enjoy!
