I don’t think I have to say much, the fact that it has 4.5 stars overall should mean somthing to you. Anyway, me and my friend played this game [on gamecube] for hours on end and I STILL love it. Multiplayer is the best I have EVER played. Pick it up today, I promise you won’t be disapointed….

This is one of the best offline first person shooters ever made. It’s one of the last game to use BOTS and there are some pretty cool level designs and a ton of creative players and weapons. Single player mode is mediocre at best but the multi-player is great. Good buy for under $8.

Let’s start at the beginning. A few months ago, I passed by Timesplitters 2 on the shelves, simply because I was not interested in it. But I read the reviews, the TERRIFIC reviews of TS2. I knew that I had to get the game. Within about a day, I was hooked, and I was determined to get every character, level, and game mode. By now, I still have 25 characters to unlock, and several game modes. I have gotten every level. But note that TS2 is NOT an easy game. The story mode is a cinch, but in the later arcade missions, the game becomes damn near impossible! And the best characters come in the later arcade missions. But what is even tougher than later arcade missions are the later challenge missions. The name says it all. The challenge missions will challenge you and sometimes take a good day to beat, all for an extra character or level. The multiplayer game is great all in all, but let’s not throw away the story missions, which are very fun as well. Similar to Eternal Darkness, a great Gamecube title, you will play through various levels set in differnt time periods. Some are 1932 Chicago, Notre Dame in the late 1800s, and even a fun shootout in the Wild West. I don’t mean to insult, but the futuristic missions are tough and boring. My favorites are Chicago, whee you play as a detective trying to bust a greedy mob. The level is excellent, and it really feels like a gangster-ridden, seedy 1932 Chicago. Notre Dame is fun as well, where you play as a gypsy-like lady sent out to help.

One thing you should know about this game is that it’s hard. very hard.Verging on the impossible hard. Not the main story mode, in fact that’s pretty straight forward, but the multitude of arcade mini-games. By earning a silver or gold medal in these missions you unlock one of the game’s 130 or something combatants, a new arena to fight in or a different mode of play.If you’re the type of person (like myself) that will want to unlock everything to get the maximum enjoyment out of the game, you will drive yourself to the brink of insanity trying to complete this.I recently got an Action Replay cheat CD on the front of a magazine that unlocks every secret TimeSplitters 2 has to offer, and it’s only now that I can select every mission that I’ve abandoned all hope of unlocking everything without the aid of cheats. Some of the later levels are even tiring with infinite health and ammo!!! Levels such as ‘Can’t Handle This’ or ‘Nice Threads’ rely on sheer hair-pulling dumb luck, as endless waves of rock-hard enemies literally swamp your character guns blazing. This element of luck can get very frustrating, especially when such a time-consuming task will usually offer nothing more than an extra character skin. One other fault for me, is that the map editor, whilst entertaining, doesn’t allow the complete freedom to design whatever you have in mind (like PC editors usually allow) and the choice of only four ‘themes’ is pretty weak, considering that the ‘Virtual’ and ‘Industrial’ tileset.

I’m rating this game close to 10 years later from when I bought it. I enjoyed this game, it was great.

good graphics, deccent sigle player, two-player story mode, great multiplayer, over 100 characters available in multiplayer, many modes of play, and great soundtrack. problems are the game gets really hard, average A.I., and not so good story.

I kept hearing stuff about Halo, people saying it’s the greatest thing since sliced bread. Well, when I did see it, I thought that it was pretty underwhelmed. Graphics were decent, but the settings, scenery, and enemies were pretty blah. It seemed like someone took the worst of the Sci-Fi network and the Phantom Menace and made it a game. Then I saw TimeSplitters 2. Wow. The graphics and scenery are spectacular, the characters and enemies are various (I prefer controlling a monkey), and the two player mode is by far the best of any console game. There’s a map editor, there are numerous modes, including cooperative and non-coop deathmatch, cooperative and non-cooperative capture the flag, who can hold the flag the longest, and much more. The Mexican Hacienda capture the flag mission alone is worth the price of the game. The gameplay is smooth, the weapons vary, and within minutes, a friend and I were hooked on capture the flag. The game is based on some sort of time travel plot. I had no interest in the FMV, so I skipped all the movies. At least that provided an excuse to provide gorgeous settings and levels. Unlike games like Max Payne or Metal Gear Solid 3, the settings are not drab and one dimensional, but vibrant and interesting. From a western setting, to an ice field, to the streets of 1930s Chicago, to the Aztec rain forest, the backgrounds were rendered seamlessly and flawlessly. The single level mode is fun too. Sometimes it require some exploration, but it’s.

This, my friends, is one of the best FPS shooters since GoldenEye, and Perfect Dark. Of course everyone has said this about this game, but it is true. This game proves you don’t need body organs raining in the sky with nifty lighting effects on every explosion like a Hollywood movie. This game concentrates on one key element many games seem to lack: the ability to be FUN.It’s a great game. Maybe it doesn’t have the greatest graphics, but the overall feel to the environment is well done. The explosions could be better looking, but are still nice to look at. Where this game sings graphically, is the detail and attention to the world and battles. You will see bullets flying everywhere, even when you’re far away. This makes every battle seem epic. Even the small things make a big impact. The way a fire extinguisher flies around in circles when you shoot it, the way the glass breaks, the way the walls seem to get shot up with bullet holes. It really adds to this game. The sound is some of the best I have heard in a game. The music is reminscent of the game, Goldeneye. The catchy tunes that will get stuck in your head, nice sound of machine guns, rich explosions. The sound is great. It also includes music from the original Time Splitters, which adds nostilgia for the fans of the original.Gameplay is solid. Battles are fast, furious, and a joy to experience. The game will not lag out or die during 16 player battles. It’s smooth and stable. Single player storyline, is not the best. In.

Everything is fun on this game rather you play by yourself, 2, 3, or 4 players. You can go on missions. There is also something called arcade where you set your own bots, guns, music, time limit, etc. That is the most fun. There is a mapmaker feature where you create your own levels. And the last thing, for single player only there is something called challenge which you do levels in a time limit or other things. You break windows within a time limit, you snipe people and youll lose if youve been spotted, etc.OH YA AND I ALMOST FORGOT, it has an ONLINE MULTIPLAYER feature!!! Its free!!! you battle other players in any level like in arcade. you can join one’s game or start your own. This game and socom II are my 2 favorite gun/shooting games.
