I’ll sum my review into 2 parts, gameplay and story.Gameplay:The game plays a lot like an action RPG. You get to lvl up you characters and you can pretty much “grind” your way through each chapter to get to higher lvls and unlock better abilities. You can also equip armor and accesories to buff your characters and get the most out of them. Each chapter has it’s own collection of main quests and side quests just like most traditional action rpgs. The fighting is handled in a more “beatem up” fashion and you are allowed to switch characters on the fly. What it lacks is the multiplayer option that the sequels introduced.Story:The story takes place between book 1 and book 2. It uses all the original voice actors so it feels like you are watching an Avatar episode. The cel-shaded graphics are decent for the console but I wasn’t too thrilled with how Aang was drawn. Again, they did a much better job with the sequels in the graphics area.In summary, if you like Action RPGs and you are a fan of the Avatar series, this game is a great addition to your collection.

    Great game!!!

  3. Patricia Schaeffer

My daughter loves this game. It is hard to get her to try other ones. Highly recommended for any Avatar fan.

  4. Alson

Does have a few scratches on it. But i did buy it used. But the disc plays fine.

  5. Lewdwig

This game maintains the basic principle of the television series – the bending. Each character has many different types of bending abilities, and it’s easy enough to understand. Every character gets a chance to play (if you want to get certain chests.)Pro’s:Intricate, well thought out plot.Numerous side quests.Easy to learn movements and techniques.Con’s:Bad character graphics.Annoying background music.Hard to figure out mini quests. In summation, this game has a relatively high replay value, and is worth buying. Don’t count on the characters looking exactly like they do on TV, though, and you also get a chance to play as Momo, but not Appa.

My two boys really like the TV series so when we got the game they were very excited. They play it every chance they get.

  7. ROhan P.

Fun game that brings back memories of this amazing tv show no scratches and works every time

My 7 year old son save his money up for awhile just for this game. He really enjoys it. The first level was kinda boring to him,but that’s just where they were teaching you the game. I will say this,it’s not a game I would buy for kids who can’t read, unless you want to be in the same room the whole time they are playing it. My son is a good reader for his age. Only a few times did I have to go in and read something for him. If this would have been last year,I would have hated the game! LOL But really, there’s ALLOT of reading to this game.

The disk recieved plays smoothly and goes straight to the title screen every time I put it in

I purchased this game for my grandchildren to play when they are here and they always want to play it. They love it and have a lot of fun.
