The reviews for this game in many game-sites aren’t fair, this game is awesome, great graphics, story, AI, gameplay. Something really nice is the voice recognition feature for the squad members. The only thing that could be better is the online gaming, there are just a few maps and not many people are playing right now.
Magnificent game! This game has a lot of things going for it, and it was tons of fun! This game is a great TPS, with neat upgrades, good shooting mechanics, interesting characters, cool boss battles, good graphics and voice acting, a few cool arcade sequences and a sci-fi story that is very interesting.The shooting is very nice. You play Dan, and he has an assault rifle which is a blast to use. You get to carry a lot of ammunition right from the start. Finding more ammo is really easy most of the time. Dan also carries a decent hitting pistol which has infinite ammunition. He can pick up a third weapon from the downed enemies. He also carries a few grenades which are really nice in the right circumstance. Also, he can carry a fourth special heavy weapon if you find one, although he will drop it when you switch weapons. You get to shoot robots aplenty, and they are just plain fun to annihilate! You can shoot their legs off and they will crawl. You can headshot them and then they shoot their allies. You can even shoot their arms off and watch as they try to melee in battle! Ha!Health comes back over time. However, you can get ‘knocked out’, and then you will need a first-aid kit to get back in the fight. First-aid kits can be bought or found. You may need them! All characters in your squad will carry first-aid kits. They will heal themselves if they are knocked out, and can even heal you if needed.Destroying enemies and beating bosses will give you cash which can then be spent.

Forget all the reviews from gaming websites. This game is awesome! It feels so good to shoot those robots!I am surprised by Sega’s Yakuza series development team to create this hardcore TPS. I also imported Yakuza of the end from Japan, and to be honest; both games are just so amazing. Graphic is really nice from the moment u start; the control needs a little to getting used to, but u can change to COD style control the option menu if that is what u r used to it.If you are on the edge of deciding wether to buy this game or Mass Effect 3… buy this one! ahah well, I ordered both. The shooting mechanics for this game is much better than ME3 in my opinion. I’m talking about Uncharted and Gears of Wars level fluid gameplay experience and shooting mechanics.Don’t wait! Buy it! NOW!
I have only played about an hour and a half of this new title and I’m already in love with it. I started this game on the hardest difficulty and it will tease you. FPS are great games but sometimes takes the scenary for granted. TPS, on the other hand, seem to take advantage of lucious enviornments a little bit more to my liking.Controls are seemless, voice communication can be engaging, voice acting and animation is above par, I can’t find too many things early on in this game that makes me think twice.Pros – very playable. upgrades to your own weapons, variable enamies, good use of enviornments, and great story nd character actions/expressions..Cons – Camera seems to be a little too close to the character and not as much freedom throughout the levels as I’d hoped for.Have not played onlineI’ve played Kane and Lynch series, Mass Effect, Uncharted, Metal Gear Solid, Dues Ex and all of those games are amazing. I’m looking forwared to where the people wanna take Binary Domain. A lot of things in this game to enjoy and I hope the players will take them for granted.

I got this game as a free download on Playstation Plus! Man, its one of the best games in the entire system’s library. The gameplay does remind me of 3rd person shooters like Gears Of War. But this story line was far more entertaining, and blasting robots made me feel like I was in the future killing terminators! You just pump out a metric ton of bullets while playing this game, and the graphics just riddle the screen with debris as you shred through the robot enemies. I really liked all the Uncharted games, Batman Arkham Asylum, Deus Ex Human Revolution, but you got to add this to the list!
I really like the game. The story is pretty good and the game play is surprisingly interesting. Graphic is not as good as the recently released big titles like Call of Duty or Medal of Honor. Its graphic is very comparable to Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of Patriots. The dialoque is quite humorous. Voice acting is quite decent.You first start the game with one partner and then later you can pick one more among the pool to join your team. When killing the enemies, you earn credits and use them to upgrade your weapon and buy other gears. Pretty straight forward.What I really like about this game is its story. It is pretty interesting.I would have bought it earlier if I have heard about it more. The problem is that the game has very limited marketing & reviews it deserved. Not many people know about it. I just happened to come across when randomly searching for some games to pick up and play besides the big titles out there. It has really good reviews but a few from retrolio. So I decided to pick it up from Game Shop and give it a try. Turned out I really enjoyed playing it! Quite a surprise.

This is a excellent Game , worth every penny , and being able to use your headset to speak to your characters is a nice added feature to the game. Very Entertaining , wish it had a stratgey guide in paperback , but only has a web based one which is still really good !

Okay let me start off by saying that this is one of the best games i have ever played and that says alot considering that i myself stopped playing as much as i used to but ever since i purchased a PS3 recently i been collecting some of the Greatest Hits and major releases. Now i didnt purchase this game here on retrolio. I went to the nearest gamestop close by and decided to make a leap and purchase this game after reading about it on retrolio. Yes i was skeptical purchasing this game for it not being a major title or even a game that i have never heard of. I was going to wait until this game went down half its asking price but i went ahead and bought it. I couldnt believe i spent that much cash on a game i never heard of or even played. As i was installing the content onto my hard drive it was apparent that the graphics might not be up to par compared to other titles but damn was i wrong. The games graphics are just as good or even better than any other games i have played before. im not going to compare it to other games but i know for sure that its just as good. The story itself is very engaging and i was hooked until i needed to stop because i realized i been playing for too long. This is a non stop action game that never gets dull and makes you want to keep playing until the end. The characters are unique in their own way and the gameplay is just as fluid as some of the best games out there. i havent used any headset for this game but the controller itself is just as good ev.

… it’s hard to go wrong with Binary Domain. Yes, it seems a little repetitive and padded at times, but it’s hard to find a TPS that isn’t. I mean, the whole idea of a shooter is to go from point A to point B and shoot everything that moves that isn’t your teammate.The gameplay itself is a cross between Dead Space, Vanquish, and the action portions of Mass Effect 2 and 3. Lots of duck-and-cover with at least a couple of teammates who will respond to your commands if you’re being reasonable and they trust you. Also, your level of trust with your teammates has an effect on who survives the final battle (like in Mass Effect), so you want to be mindful to keep everyone happy.More often than not, a single shot won’t clean house. Instead, like in Dead Space, you quickly learn to shoot arms and legs when a head shot isn’t likely. But these are robots, and they’ll still keep crawling towards you, so you keep shooting until the sparks stop!The boss battles reminded me of Vanquish. Those bosses are huge and take some doing before going down. But the controls are tight enough and (at least until the final battle) judicious use of cover helps you keep the difficulty level in check.It’s a beast of a download at 11 Gigs, presumably for the voice recognition element of the game. I didn’t use it, preferring to just press L2 and pick a dialog option.If you don’t care for third-person shooters, this won’t make you a convert, but if you do, it’s a good story with fun characters and so.

Yes you heard me right. I got Binary Domain free by being a member of Playstation Plus. The game is only $12.95 as of this writing so it’s dirt cheap to own. I would never have paid $59.00 for this game new. The game play is fun but the controls are buggy. If you do not stand in the exact right at an objective place needed options will not appear and you get killed. I do not mean within a zone of reason. I mean needed options fade in and out with the slighest movement even after battle making the option almost impossible to engage. Also the directions given by characters in furtherance of the story are downright cryptic. Hey you come over her Go over there, like whatever.All in all the graphics are beautiful. The futuristic Tokyo city has a realistic feel to it. The realistic city made playing the Binary Domains very nice. Killing the robots was always fun. The boss battles were just right in difficulty. The team mates weree a very high string bunch that quickly got on your nerves. The one thing Binary Domains was is FUN. So many video games take themselves so seriously. Binary Domain takes itself just seriously enough to have a nice tightly told story that held my interest. Character development on the teams had their own twusts turns and arcs.Final word for $12.95 Binary Domain Delivers the fun. Binary Domain has PS3 trophies with about ten that are dead easy to get. You moght ask why would I buy a copy of a vidoe game I got for free. Well the PS4 is out.

Binary Domain is a very fun third-person shooter. You’ll be going through areas in Japan in the near future. The setting is a nice change from the ordinary Middle East environments that are common in these kinds of shooters. Everything has a futuristic touch, with robots being a normal sight on the streets. The story builds on this, as you are a member of a government agency sent to find out who is illegally manufacturing robots who look human and who are even programmed to think they are human.The graphics are beautiful. Everything is clean and sharp. You’ll see a lot of sheen on the robot enemies and around the environments. It has run quite smoothly for me, besides some occasional slowdown. In most stages, you will be mowing through waves of robotic enemies coming at you. Robots in the game can be shot in different areas for different effects. For example, taking out their legs will make their torso drop and start to crawl towards you. The gameplay is quite challenging, but you can choose to play on a lower difficulty or with aim assist to help make shooting easier.The only real problem I have had with the game is the team AI. It works okay, but your squad members will sometimes behave strangely. Too often, they will run right in front of you as you are aiming a shot at an enemy, causing you to hit them. And every time you accidentally hit your team member, their “trust” rating with you drops. High trust and low trust can cause your team members to either follow your order.

Binary Domain is a sci-fi shooter where you play as a team sent into Japan to stop a maniac making robots who look like humans and think they’re human!This is one of those games that makes a lackluster first impression. The artwork of the packaging is generic, and one of the main selling points of the game is the ability to give voice commands to your team, and kind of works but it feels like your trying to navigate through a phone tree in order to finally speak to a human operator after a half hour to finally learn what your credit balance is. However, this game rocks! Once I got into the storyline of the game, I was immediately hooked. The gameplay is solid, albeit predictable, but a lot of fun. This game reminds me of another SEGA game recently published, Vanquish. The gameplay isn’t as good as Vanquish, but the storytelling and awesome sci-fi/action-movie feel makes the game totally worth playing. If that isn’t enough, this game has a one-liner dropping french robot! I would say the best aspect of the game is the plot, which is engaging, and something that very few games do well.Overall, Binary Domain succeeds with a great storyline and excellent storytelling. Characters are fun and likable with cheesy dialog reminiscent of good, old school B-movies and throwbacks to numerous science fiction films (see Blade Runner, Ghost in the Shell, Robocop, and Terminator).

Binary Domain is a game that I feel sorry for…Oh not that it’s a bad game, in fact it’s actually really good. But it’s like a film that happens to opens up sandwiched between a couple of blockbusters and gets lost in the shuffle. It’s a game that came out with little fanfare…which is Sega’s fault…but a game that is quite good…also Sega’s fault. Binary Domain is a squad/cover based shooter set in the year 2080. Robots have become the primary work force in the world. A new Geneva Convention agreement has banned robots that are able to pass themselves off as humans. A Japanese robotics firm has ignored the agreement, producing humanoid robots called “hollow children” that are able to imitate humans and assimilate their way into human society.You take on the role of a mercenary named Dan Marshall, who is assigned by the International Technology Robot Agency (ITRA) to lead an interchangeable group of mercs to infiltrate and investigate the Amada Corporation, and ultimately destroy the illegal bots. The game has parallels to many popular films like “I, Robot’ and “Bladerunner” and does a nice job of pacing its story. While the plot isn’t overly complex there’s a nice back-story that plays out with a few twists tossed in for good measure. The various characters you command each have their own unique personalities even if they are stock characters straight out of central casting with various cultural stereotypes. Still, you’re more likely to choose which two mates y.
