I’ve played the original Link to the past, and the more i play this, the more i actually felt like playing more of the same, but it’s a GOOD more of the same (if that makes any sense at all.) The puzzles are challenging at times (had to look up a walkthrough for my second playthrough when i get to it) but are rewarding in the end. I like the ability to merge into walls to bypass many obstacles. (Especially in the skull woods dungeon-The wallmasters can’t touch you in the walls, now can they?)All in all, although it may look easy, it is. However, it is this way to give people who haven’t played a Zelda game in their entire life to give it a whirl. The hardcore players might get a nostalgia trip, the casual gamers can get into the pick up and play aspect of it, and the newcomers have a chance to experience what made Zelda such a staple in Nintendo’s history in the first place.I know a lot of other people have been giving this game a hard time, and I think that they’re wasting their time. From their reviews, I feel like they haven’t even played the game. And to them I say this: You can’t make accusations about something that you haven’t experienced. Learn to grow up and stop trolling everything that you think isn’t good enough. That ends my review. Have a nice Day.Kunai

I’ve been attempting to get into the Zelda series since the 80’s when the gold cartridge came out for the NES. I always found the series to be just a bit to complicated with it’s puzzles and story to follow. Nonetheless I tried all of the games through N64 gen before I took a break from the series.Decided to give Link Between Worlds a shot and WOW was I surprised! It manages to be a very deep RPG and yet avoids the pitfalls of being overly complicated.Exploring Hyrul is a blast and the puzzles not only make sense, but are a heck of a lot of fun.If you feel like I do about previous Zelda games and are on the fence about getting this, don’t be. You are in for a fun experience with this one.

I have played many 3DS games that I liked. Luigi’s Mansion and Paper Mario 3DS come to mind. Those games were incredible to the limitations that handhelds present. The problem I had was that the overworld was lacking. I wanted to explore larger worlds and have a bigger game. I was afraid that this Zelda would be much the same. FEAR NOT! The overworld isn’t daunting, but it is quite large for a portable game. It takes me back to the days of Link’s Awakening, but with nice graphics. Don’t get me wrong, this is no PS4, but it’s stellar considering that it is in fact, a handheld. Wonderful game that brings out all kinds of old school 2D Zelda nostalgia!
