Thank you, Team Dreamworks! Enjoyed this for sure ~ a lovely holiday surprise to see it listed. retrolio also has it labeled as “Season 1, Episode 1″… I’d like to think that means there are new episodes in progress that will be rolled out in 2020 and beyond. The previous between-movie series were well-written and allowed for significant character development (“Riders of Berk”, “Defenders of Berk” and “Race to the Edge”). Fingers crossed that future episodes will do them justice and be equally as entertaining. :-)

This was a good side story to go with the trilogy.

  3. Katheryn Blatt

Loved how they closed out the story. It’s such a sweet tale. I do wish they had multiple seasons. The story line can keep going.

  4. Tom

If your a fan of how to train your dragon you will love this so much.

  5. Thomas

A bit short but fun. My son would give five stars.

  6. Kat

Came in amazing condition. Not a scratch. Love this book.

  7. Johnelle DiTonno

Just like the shorts from the other two How To Train Your Dragon films, this one has heart! I’ll be honest about my misty eyes. Lots of negative reviews for the length, but it’s a short film. Gift of the Night Fury and Dawn of the Dragon Riders were around the same length. Also a few complaints about the price; I only paid $4.99 for it, but perhaps the price tag was a little higher back in December (I bought it about 5 months after the original release, so the price has clearly dropped since then). Anyway, I loved it. I had hoped there might be some direct interaction between two of the characters, but since this short ties into the very end of The Hidden World, I have forgiven the tease. For those who would claim that there is no indication this is a short, I’ll give you that. I saw nothing on the listing declaring the fact that this is a short film. But… The Hidden World released on February 22nd, 2019. It was 4 years between the first and second films, and then 5 years between the second and third films. I would personally find it dubious that DreamWorks would release a fourth full-length film within 11 months of the one before it, especially when the spans between the first/second and second/third films was 4 and 5 years respectively. Especially considering the fact that The Hidden World was stated to be the last film in the franchise.

    Definitely worth the watch!

  9. Elizabeth

This one is new..stumbled on it..you have to watch the background for surprises and the graphics are very good.

  10. Torin

Super cute, if you love the other movies and tv series this is a must watch. Would buy it again
