I’ve loved this series from day one, and once again NSS knocks it out of the park!Compelling and action packed. Well crafted characters whom you end up deeply caring for. Villains whom you feel, just a wee bit of pity for.Twists and turns. A vivid post apocalyptic world. What more could you ask for?I love it!!! Bring on book 6.Thank you Mr Smith for bringing such amazing stories into the world. Keep writing!
Wow, the best in the series. I don’t know what to say without leaving spoilers. But I can say that the fight for survival is intense. Looking forward to continuing this world Nick has show us. The series could easily ended with book.
This book is a little more action packed and fast paced. It feels very Mad Max and Waterworld. This series would translate well into a series of movies!
The latest entry of Nicholas HD series is a must read, it takes you to a lovely ride, so far the best, character progression, every detail in perfectly in place, the plot, the ending, the last fight, the final agreement btw 2 main characters, is something unique. Congrats!!!
As a solid fan of Hell Divers, I’ve already read the first 4 books and waiting impatiently for this one to come out. The wait was worth it! It was great to read about my favorite character X again and I look forward to the next book. Keep em coming Nicholas!
Fantastic creatures, brave hero’s, strange villain. What’s not to like about this series. I can’t wait to read the next addition and I stopped reading another book to jump right on to Captives. Love it.

Characters rise, and Characters fall in a story filled with twists, and turns, as what’s left of Humanity fights for its very survival. This fifth installment in the series envokes so much emotion over the course of an adrenaline-fueled thrill ride that is hard to put down. Mr. Smith outdoes himself once again, giving readers his best story to date, in a novel that is extremely hard to put down.
Great story, the action just kept going throughout the book. It gives you chills just picturing yourself in the places and times of the story. The people are believable. Keep them comming!
Yet again another book in this series that was as good as the previous ones. Looking forward to the next book

The fifth book in the series was a great addition to the series. The plot behind this part of the series didn’t falter at all. The action scenes were depicted well. Another great book. The author has done an.amazing job with this one as well as with the previous ones in the series. Easily 5 stars. Definitely going to continue with the series. High hopes for further installments.

Simply amazing. I read these books quicker an quicker everytime! This was mad max meets water world meets king arthur. It was sad losing so many people, but there are plenty of new great characters to learn more about like wendig and Rhino. I can’t wait for book 6!

This story is violent, dark and exceptionally heartbreaking. The action is well done, the descriptions of the world and its people is real. It’s so well done, that it is the reason I don’t like parts of this book. I love learning about how the world got to be this way. I really enjoyed seeing it all come together at the end. But sadly, as NSS is wont to do, we lose people we’ve grown to love. Yes it propels the story forward, yes it is a time of war, but damnitman! Some people should just be off-limits!If you haven’t started the series, DO IT.Thank me later.

This series just keeps getting better! I read book one and it was just okay. The writing seemed a bit amateurish and the book was rife with awkward dialogue and forced plot. I debated whether I should continue with the series or not. I ultimately decided to keep reading and I’m glad I did! The second book was better and by the third book he really hit his stride. Every book that’s has come out has been better than the one that preceded it! It’s an imaginative and compelling story of a post apocalyptic world that just keeps getting better. You can’t help but route for this group of survivors as they fight for the future of the human race. They continue to fight and adapt as they encounter one obstacle after another in the hellish world that they inhabit. I highly recommend these books and look forward to the next one coming out!

Hell Divers is one of my favorite apocalyptic series and this installment is absolutely brilliant. Nick Smith is an awesome storyteller, keeping you on the edge of your seat rooting for the heroes & heroines. Even though he keeps it real in that all do not survive, you still love the story in the way it is told.
