Bought this for my son’s birthday. While I haven’t personally played it I know he has. From the moment he opened it he had it running, only pausing for bathroom breaks or when I made him jump in the shower. It couldn’t have been too difficult since he came in bragging about having finished it after two days. He’s eight. That made me feel pretty bad, having spent a bunch of money on something he was able to rip through and complete in such a short time. However, he keeps going back and playing again it so apparently it was money well spent after all.I asked him if he would recommend it for somebody else but I think he misunderstood the question because he suddenly became very territorial. It became clear to me that he believed I was getting ready to take it back from him and pass it along to some other kid because he asked "how about another game?". Obviously it’s a hit. That raised another issue though and now we’re working on sharing.

At long last a truly great Spider-Man game is here. The story is fun to play through and the side missions are fun as well. But the best thing about this game is the web swinging.

The Amazing Spider-Man incorporates the combat system we all know and love from the Batman games with a plot that follows the events that take place after the movie, in a game that presents you with a good amount of challenges and objectives. It is fun and will bring you into the world of Spider- Man like no other game has before. You can unlock extras, costumes and much more. We all know Spider- Man 2 was the best game ever created, but that my friend is now history because The Amazing Spider-Man has surpassed Spider-Man 2 in every way.
