1 review for Animal Kingdom: Wildlife Expedition – Wii Game

  1. C.C.

It’s such a shame that no proper reviews have been provided for this game. It’s really not too bad. It’s a NATSUME brand game, so expect natsume’s usual quality (less on the graphical end, but more energy poured into the quality of the simulation gaming experience). Despite the very cutesy, childish, and ‘japonisme’ (‘Can I hear a wood block,yo?’) appearance of this game’s packaging, the game is quite realistic. You’re a wildlife photographer on your first major gig in Africa. You get to choose a male or female as your Pokemon trainer..er…photographer. A smart-alec robot named ‘Stupendo’ will be your guide and tutor. Stupendo adds an element of humor to your daily adventure as he rolls his robot eyes (he really isn’t a very personable robot), and communicates with you like you’re a total moron. You’ll receive assignments from your editor at headquarters to provide them with quality photos of the subject matter they request. For example, you may be asked photograph a ‘parent and child’, or a certain animal doing a particular thing. The animals are rendered pretty realistically. Though not at the peak of today’s graphics, they exhibit fairly realistic movements. At one point in the game you get to see a stampede of several hundred wilder-beasts. The photos you will take of the animals in action look pretty realistic. You have to choose the best of these photos to send to your editor who will evaluate their quality (So far I’ve only gotten the ‘Silver’ ranking).Game sounds: Th.
