I must say, This game is unique and happy it exist. With no drawing or painting experience at all I bought this game for myself as a start (age 20). It include dozen of lessons that teach all kind of Arts, tools and different levels of difficultly, and if the number of lessons aren’t enough for you, you can always buy more online. it will consume hours of your life that you will enjoy (hopefully).Yet you need to remember this is a game and if you try to apply what you learned in a paper or canvas you will realize it different, and not as simple as the game made it to be and you need to adjust.The game gives you a great understanding to how start a drawing, how to blend, what to use and when.

You get a mini tablet with a fun little guy teaching you what to do and you get to be creative and use your artistic talents all you want, and they put soft music in the background (but I don’t think you can turn it off during the lessons)! I was well pleased with this ‘toy.’ It puts a good vision of what it must be like to be a professional artist and I would recommend this to just about anyone.
I’m glued to my 3ds for hours. it has structured lessons with a relaxed environment and each lesson builds on the last one. You’ll love it!
I love educational games and this one is one of the best for kids and adults! Now I wish the kids had a 3ds XL! Best of 3ds for the young and young-at-heart!!! A no regrets purchase, easily in the top 5 educational games for 3ds.
I went into this having no real experience with drawing. I hadn’t done so for about 4 months, and it wasn’t like I was an expert at that point either Within 1 hour I had a surprisingly passable painting of a cherry. From that point on, I was hooked. All you need is a modicum of effort and you’ll most likely get the results you are looking for.
It truly is wonderful for anyone wanting to learn how to be a artist. painting, skecthing with both regualer lead and colors and using pastels . truly a delight
This was a Christmas present for my Grandson who plans to be an animator when he grows up. He is extremely pleased with this gift. It was delivered promptly and in good condition. The price and shipping cost were very reasonable.
I bought this for my artist grand daughter who loves to draw. She is constantly learning new techniques with this program and loves it. It is worth the money and brings out her creative side.
I bought this game for the 3DS since I was considering before to get the DS version, but changed my mind. And I have to say, this game is so AWESOME! I love it! I thought I would be getting something that would have simple art lessons for kids and basically a portable art program on my 3DS. This "game" has improved my art from the first lesson and has so much replayability it’s crazy. You can even make your own virtual art gallery (something I didn’t know before my purchase) and then your friends can visit it and you can visit theirs. The tools have great variety (sketching, painting, pastels, coloring pencils, etc) and a mixing paint system for custom made colors. The music is relaxing and the "models’ you draw can be seen from different angles and move just enough to show they are real but not too much to make drawing difficult. A must have for anyone interested in art or who needs some relaxation.

The game is quite fun yet teaches you drawing techniques that are valuable to the player with downloadable content you can get offline if you complete all the other drawing how to’s…While on a small handheld system other than the semi small screen this game is good and came in a box so it was perfectly safe while shipping

A great way to inspire and teach yourself or your child about art. The whole thing is done in such a way that it truly is your art but the lesson goes about giving you the right steps to make sure you are set up for success. All in all, it makes me wish there were more programs like this out for the 3DS, it really shows the potential of the platform as a tool for creativity and learning as much as it is a gaming console.

A nice chanfge from typical DS type games- my granddaughter is 9 and highly motivated to get better at drawing. She saw this on a commercial and got very excited. She has been using it and is happy with it since she got it for Christmas.
