Just received this yesterday and I’m liking it so far. It’s not too simulation serious, if you want hyper realism just get a car dummy. I want Arcady pick up and play fun that isn’t a boring simulation game. Yawn!!!
Look I’ve read many reviews saying you cannot drift without losing speed. WRONG. Simply tap the brake button and turn the steering wheel simutaneously and you will immediately start to drift and maintain your speed. Excellent for curves and can even be used on straightaways. And of course drift causes your boost gauge to raise up fast. So enjoy drifting and winning!!

I have not played this game but have asked my son how he likes it. I was worried he wouldn’t like because past history has shown me the “cheaper” games are not very fun for him.

This game is really fun and it could be a great game for a cellphone, because this not for a 3DS system.It have bad graphics and several graphics error (like when you crash your car), it looks like Ubisoft made this game just for release something, the iphone version can have better graphics.But the game itself is really fun, have multiples race mode like race, vigilant, one to one, against the clock, etc.Some people compare this game with Ridge Racer for Namco, I had this one too and I can say that this game is something better that Ridge Racer because actually had licensed model cars and a more bigger variety of locations (real locations), but Ridge racer had better graphics and sound, ASPHALT 3D also have a customization section for your cars and in it can change the decal cars (in Ridge Racer you just can change the color) and can change the boost system, the engine, the brakes, etc.ASPHALT 3D had 3 camera angles against 2 camera angles from Ridge Racers, but the drift mode in Ridge Racer is much better that it is in ASPHALT 3DConclusion: “Ridge Racer 3D + ASPHALT 3D = Fantastic Racer Game ever for a 3DS” , but this is still a dream (because NFS The Run is not better that neither this two).Even with the graphics errors in this game, the variety of locations, cars a little customization options made this game a very funny racer game

When the 3DS came out I knew that I wanted to get a racing game for it. After reading some reviews and hearing that this was more of an arcade style racer I decided I would choose this over Ridge Racer. I can not speak to the quality of the ridge racer game, but I can confidently say that this is an excellent arcade style racer racer, especialy for a system launch title.Visuals – The game is very colorful and the graphics are spectacular. It obviously doesn’t compare to a computer or console game as far as looks, but it is more than you could hope for on a hand held system. The different race tracks all have very distinct looks that are brought to life with vibrant lights, snow, water and building that accurately represent the city you are racing in.Soound – The sound is not outstanding but I never expect it to be a for any handheld system. The engines tend to not have enough base, but I Imagaine a good pair of headphones could fix this. The music is catchy enough that it won’t annoy you, but not so good that you will have it stuck in you head all day.Gameplay (outside of races) – This is my biggest and only real issue with this game. When moving from menu to menu, the game is pretty smooth. Load screens are relatively short and infrequent. However, when changing from one car to another, you often have to wait 5 or more seconds before your next car will pop up on the screen so you can see what it is and what stats it has. This may not seem like a big issue, but if you have to.
