I bought this for my youngest who loves to plat Pinball. I love the fact that there are many different backgrounds to play on. My favorite is the Elvira machine haha. (I’m old school). My youngest likes that there are different challenges to this game and it is not all the same thing over and over.

Most addicting pinball game ever created. I highly recommend this game to ANYBODY that loves pinball. The physics and details are incredible. Having been to many arcades and played most of these tables, this company NAILED it. Best deal on retrolio for a PS4 game. I’ve probably risked my marriage because I play this game too much. Holy crap. BUY THIS GAME. I promise, you’ll absolutely love it to pieces. AMAZING.
So, i ordered this game because I wanted a new game to add to my PS4 collection. I was looking for a cheap game, and a game that I would enjoy. When I got this game, i was very excited. I have loved pinball for years, especially on video games. Right when I started the game, it played "Pinball Wizard" by The Who, which was AWESOME (Coming from a Who fan). But, the audio sounded a bit wrong to me, but it was OK when i started playing. The controls, are alright. There is one feature that I like, the ability to TILT a pinball machine. But, the controllers for the flappers were not what I expected. I was expecting the flappers to be controlled using the triggers, bu it’s controlled with the left and right buttons. This felt a little weird to me, but i can overlook it. The graphics are good. The cool thing is that there are 22 classic pinball tables that are really fun to play (If I had to pick a favorite, it would be "The Black Hole"). Also, I was looking for a game that could be used when my friends come over and we want to play a PS4 game together. This is great because it can support 4 Players in one game! Overall, this game is great! Aside from the controls and the weird audio, it’s worth a buy!
Pinball Arcade for the PS4 is best console pinball simulation yet and at less than a dollar per game it’s an awesome deal.You get 22 great pinball games.More important, these games have never looked, played or sounded this good on any console.For the first time you get realistic dynamic lighting effects on the Pinball tables; some areas of the table will be darker than others, and when you hit something important, parts of the table will "light up like a pinball machine" !The ball physics are great, particularly in Multi-Ball mode. Other consoles will experience some slowdown, not on the PS4.Nudging the table and trapping the ball with your flipper are important strategies in pinball and the PS4’s speed allows you to effectively do these tricks.With the availability of more great pinball games via DLC packs, I expect to be playing Pinball Arcade for some time to come.
22 first season tables with option to add additional tables from the Playstation store, gives you plenty to keep you busy for years to come. Tables look and play great, but I think the coolest feature is the history given of all the tables, when they were produced, how many, who designed them, which company made them, etc.. These tables were all REAL tables so if you’re used to the fantasy stuff that is only produced for digital gamers, this is probably not for you. I grew up playing real pinball and have played a few of these tables at one time or another in my life. Do your best and see how you rank globally, so what are you waiting for?
Of all the console games I have, this is my favorite by far. Playing Twilight Zone pinball is almost as fun as playing the real machine. I’ve spent well over $100 on additional content for this game. It’s been hours of fun for me.
This is a fun game. You get a decent amount of tables with it, with options to download other sets via PSN.I played it for hours and will continue to do so.
Playing pinball at home is the BEST. The machines and action of flippers etc. is VERY GOOD. Best video Pball I ever played.

I love pinball games. I wish I had my own. However, since I don’t have an actual pinball game at my house, this will work fine.While there is very little difference between this game and the PS3/Vita/iOS/Kindle Fire etc versions, it’s nice to have something on the PS4.This disc gives you every pinball game available at the time of this writing and saves you valuable download time. it’s not a bad deal at all.As I said, if you have the game on other versions, no need to get this one unless you are a trophy monger — but if you’ve never experienced the game, you are in for a treat.I just wish the PS4 game would have more table updates (iOS and PC are very quick, PS4, not so much)

The only way to get these tables in this game now, due to them losing the Bally/Williams liscense is to buy the actual disc. If you want the US version make sure that’s what you are getting. UK version works as well, eg Season 2. Fun tables and a shame that you cannot get some of the other tables you used to get digitally. Well worth the money. WiiU version is the only way to get the other tables if you didn’t buy them before they got pulled. So 5 stars if you want these tables that you can’t get unless you have the disc.

My husband and I play this all the time. Great graphics. The flippers respond well. I love all the tables, and look forward to more tables being released for this game. My husband is also looking forward to online tournaments to become available (eventually). There are 2 things that I would change about it, if I could: (1) I wish there was an option for using separate controllers when playing against each other. Having to pass a controller back and forth is not ideal. and (2) Similar to the "Challenge" option where one player has to pass multiple tables, I wish there was a 2-player challenge option. For example, an option for the game to randomly choose 5 tables (for instance) that my husband and I could play each other and compete for the highest overall points Kind of like a head-to-head mini challenge. Overall though, we like this game a lot.

I’ve dabbled in these games a lot over the past few years and while there’s this and Zen Pinball, if you’re looking for a more realistic pinball experience, this game delivers. Several of these tables were childhood favorites of mine such as the Twilight Zone and the Arabian Nights tables so it’s an absolute pleasure to see these tables re-created in such painstaking detail. If you’re a fan of realistic pinball games, this is the perfect video game solution for your pinball needs!

Pinball is a game of skill. If you love pinball, at $20 or less, this is a steal for the amount of content you get. If you new to playing pinball, its easy to become discouraged playing these types of games because your first games will end quickly and seem to be chaotic. Take the time to learn how to control the ball, and delve into each of the tables rules and scoring mechanics. many tables have a story to tell, and challenges to over come that can be quite surprising and adictivly awesome to play out!

Okay at first I was a little worried with the opening credits cheesy music and dated graphics but the actual pinball game itself is amazing realistic. I mean, it looks just like an actual pinball machine, the graphics are amazing. The controls are very simple and fluid, you just use the controller trigger buttons to operate the flippers/paddles and the left thumb control operates the tilt. I have only played the first pinball machine which is the Mars one but there appears to be many different pinball machine and you can be listed as one of the top scores. On my first try I was the top 5! Another thing I like is that on prior pinball arcade games the game was set so difficult that the ball would always go in the gutter or straight through the middle past the flippers, on this game it is set so you can actually play for a long period of time. I was hesitant to purchase this game after reading the average/negative reviews by so called game critics on the gaming internet sites but this game is amazing in its realism! Now granted I would not purchase this for $59.95 but for $19.95 it is a steal and it arrived in 2 days! I have retrolio Prime & I just ignored the free shipping if purchasing $35.00 or above, my shopping cart had just this game in it & I still received the free shipping. The sound effects and dialogue is still the same chessy 1980’s pinball music and dialogue which is great.

I wasn’t exactly sure how I would take to playing old school pinball on my PS4 with such extreme games out there to play. I loved pinball as a kid, I wasn’t a fanatic about it, but I liked it. I figured for $20 I can get some casual enjoyment out of it. I got a bit more than that!This game has some great machines! Fun, imaginative and challenging! Even my wife, who does not play video games, had fun with it!If you like pinball, get this!

Finally – a game I can play on the PS4. Pinball for the old man, and sometimes I can even beat my 10 year old. And I don’t have to insert 50 cents. I like this game because it is easy to learn and it doesn’t require a lot of time to play, but at the same time it is somewhat addictive.
