  1. Jan

I didn’t have high expectation when I purchased this game, but I ended up enjoying it more than I thought I would. The game has nice music and good looking CGs. While I’m not a huge fan of the high school setting, the story is interesting and has some decent discussions about life and death. However, some of the romantic relationship endings feel unsatisfying due to the game’s setting. Also, the female lead is so passive to a point where it becomes a little annoying. There are several occasions where something major happens and/or someone is in great danger, and the female lead is like "I need to go back to the dorm and sleep". Overall, it’s not as good as Collar X Malice or Code: Realize, but that may be a standard that’s too high. I’d still recommend it if it’s on sale or if you have some time to spare.

  2. Hazel

To be honest I wasn’t as satisfied with it as I was with previous otome games that came out this year. But I did enjoy the story. The art was different from what I’ve seen in other Otome games I’ve played. The characters where unique and their endings where satisfactory which is very important to me in a game. But I felt there was something missing in this game. I wish we were given more choices to make to determine the ending. But I would still recommend this game.

  3. EleanoreSipes

Great story and replay ability! I am looking forward to getting everyone’s route. Higa is definitely my favorite so far. I also really loved the NPCs, they tug on your heart!

  4. Elizaveta Batazheva

Japanese VA and English text work just well tho sometimes I cringe a little because of how much actors TRY… nice game, just started it not long ago, cute art style and interesting setting, the game itself was in a perfect condition and came without any problems

  5. Aoi Kirisawa

Thanks for localizing bad apple wars. The story was very interesting. But I do think the art is kinda not my type. Overall it is good, do try to give this game a shot :)

  6. Shopaholic

So glad to see a physical copy of this directly from retrolio! Brand new and sealed! I’m new to otome visual novels and know exactly what I’m getting myself into, I can’t wait!

  7. Beth Katherine

Pros: The graphics, CGs, music, and storyline are great! I really enjoyed playing this over and over to try unlocking other character routes.Cons: I hated having to sit through scenes I’d already watched during previous playthroughs. The repetitiveness almost gave the game a tedious feel.Overall, I would recommend it to others who enjoy otome games.

  8. Kelsorive

Came in perfect shape, sealed, and the game itself is so much fun.

  9. Chisui

I gotta say I just finished my first route today and I’m both happy and disappointed. I just played Alma’s route and seriously it wasn’t the lack of choice. There wasn’t any choice to be made at all! Sure you decide we’re to go location wise but besides that there’s no other choice you make as a heroine. I was just basically reading the entire thing like a book. Plus the translations this time had weird words mixed in I think when a character said ‘what’ or something the word would say “Quoi” instead of translations. If that actually means ‘What’ too then I apologize but I see no point if ordinary people reading it don’t understand. There were other ones but I forgot them. The way the cgs were touchable/interactive like Amnesia, no better than Amnesia, was nice and new. Plus the relationship chart aka the Flow chart was a first for me and very convenient. It allowed me to go to any part of the route. The entire story line reminded me a lot about Angel Beats and seriously the lack of choice still gets to me. That’s the only thing I have huge complaints about. (Of course I’m holding nothing towards the translators about that.) The story itself (not all) although similar to Angel Beats, wasn’t so bad, I had fun breaking rules with the bad apples 😉. 4 stars is the most I can give though. I was originally gonna give 3 stars but Alma’s route really hit me in the heart and resonated so I couldn’t bear to give this game a 4 star. I’ll check out the other routes too but at a later dat.

  10. When I bought this game I wasn’t sure what to expect but I loved playing it. When it came, the packaging wasn’t damaged or anything. The game ran smoothly and the opening song was addictive. The artwork was beautifully drawn and the story was very intriguing and interesting. I played White Mask’s route and I was satisfied to the max. Overall,I loved it!
