The game has a very entertaining set of options to play and the various instruments to use make it a very variable game for all choices, it needs a little more challenge and a carreer mode, but in overall it’s a very good game

bought two of these for my kids. My daughters DS is the XL size and it doesnt fit. However my son has a standard 3DS and it worked just great
This game is amazing for its price. I have looked and looked for a bundle like this. I am surprised how good it’s graphics are and how well it is plotted on the NDS. I do recommend this game for people who liked the PS3 or PS2 versions of this game. You should buy this game if you have an extra 7$. Just wow.

I love this game, you can’t go wrong for the price. If you have a DS and like Guitar Here you will enjoy it believe me. The new playing options bring the game to another level, playing the drums is addictive. The guitar and drums attachments work pretty well. NOTICE: this is for Nintendo DS and DS lite if you do not have a Game Boy slot you won’t be able to play it.
So fun, the drum option is especially cool, and the songs are pretty well known, great product.
Bought it for my daughter. She likes the guitar part of it. Drum play is like button mashing with the occasional flick on the screen. The singing leaves a lot to be desired. You have to hold the DS really close to your face and then can’t see the words. If the singing play had been better it would be 5 stars.

I had the game before; lost it. And repurchased it here for a great price. Package came early and in perfect condition. I just love this game! Haha.

Band hero is more difficult than Guitar hero. Anyway, with this package I got the hand held guitar button thingy and the red one didn’t work. Luckily I already have one that works. The stylus works alright, and the drums are pretty hard but they work fine. I love this game because you can play guitar, drums, bass, or kareoke. Also, the band hero thing on for the buttons is a sticker. I rated 3 stars because the handheld thing doesn’t work but I won’t be returning it. The handheld cost me $2 at GameStop, so that’s not a big deal. Plus I mostly just wanted the stylus, so overall this is a good deal ‘

A word of caution: Galactics fulfilled this order with the European version of this game. For me, it was a pleasant surprise, as the European song list is better. That being said, I don’t know if this one was some fluke of nature, or if all of their supple is the EUR version, but you should research both song lists just to be sure you will be happy with the order when you receive it.

If you like Guitar hero you will like this game. This game however like many other games is only made for the Nintendo ds lite. If you look on the box it even says so. However, when I got mine their were 2 game cartridges. 1 I put in my dsi, which allows me to use the drums. The drums are compatible with the dsi, but nothing else. I tried my dsi xl with the drums, but as the dsi xl is twice the size of the ds lite and the dsi it doesn’t fit. :( The only thing is that my ds lite is so old that the screen goes out frequently which results in me missing notes. However, I ordered a new ds lite yesterday :) I do have 1 complaint though, but it isn’t really a complaint. I just assumed that since this was band hero that the guitar grip should have the band hero design instead of the guitar hero sign. Their is a paper to change it, however you have to unscrew everything to change it which isn’t really worth it… Also, even though this has the guitar hero grip, if you are just buying it for the guitar hero grip you are wasting your money. Their was a link I stumbled on when browsing retrolio earlier, and you can buy guitar hero grips separately, or by themselves. Do not buy this unless you also want to use drums and vocal. Or if you want different or new songs. Sorry… I saw a comment somewhere that someone bought this just to replace their guitar hero grip, and I thought that was wasteful. I haven’t found a link in case something happens to the drums, but I am sure their is one here.

I didn’t get this years ago because it was so expansive. Now that this is old the price was right. Love it. Great songs. You can play the drums, guitar or sing. Lots of fun.
