Batman Arkham Asylum is something I normally wouldn’t get into but was immediately impressed by the mechanics and polish in the game. The developers put a lot of love into this creation. They made a believer out of me and I’m not a fan of Batman or of the action/adventure genre but I wound up playing this game every chance I got until I beat it. Now, I’m just waiting for Arkham City to come down in price before I buy that one too. Easy recommendation.. Easy 5 stars..

  2. Randy Trevino

While the disc looks like it’s been through what might’ve been sand paper, then hit with tons of disc restoration products, it works perfectly. No glitches, no long loading screens, just smooth game play. Great price, too.

  3. BamaFan2

    Awesome!

  4. Bryan

This is the best Batman simulator I’ve ever played. I bought it, put in the disc, and the next thing I knew I had 100% of the achievements in the game and the weekend was over…

  5. Ryan Pavone

Received extremely fast and worked great. No scratches on disc. Expected to receive in a week but got in two days.

  6. Marcia Cox

Grandson was thrilled to get this game for Christmas and it was shipped quickly!!

  7. Michael

This is a great single player game. Not sure why there is not a multiplayer option but the single player is great. Good story, good graphics, nice controls. I really enjoyed playing it.

  8. Chris

This game was a fantastic purchase. The combat system is addictive. It allows for seamless and, if you master the timing of it, flawless combat while remaining challenging and fun. You can also take the baddies down with stealth, if you so choose. Nothing is as cool as dropping down your zip line, hanging above your victim, and grabbing them and dragging them up to the shadows where you leave them tied to the roof. The scenery is great, and there are so many batman fan nods it’s not even funny. The only negative I have seen so far is the voice acting. It’s kind of wooden and seems detached from the action of the game. It almost feels like they got the actors in a room and said, “Okay, now read from this comic book. Thanks!”I’d recommend this game to anybody who likes batman, likes stealth games, or likes beating the tar out of bad guys without mercy.

  9. C. Carroll

It’s fun. Not perfect, but it’s a fun game to play if you’re bored (that’s the only time when I play video games personally, if you want to rate my video gaming desire levels).

  10. W. Ingram

Okay I am a huge Batman and I know that I am not alone. Most superhero games I have played were not translated well and I got bored very easily. Now Marvel TRIED to trump this game and they failed miserably with Ultimate Alliance 2.Does anyone really care about Marvel nowadays? I’m talking to you Walt Disney Productions.Batman:Arkham Asylum is the best superhero game EVER! Marvel is going to have a hell of time topping what DC,Eidos and Rocksteady have done here. Not to mention the part in the game with the scarecrow that is a shout out to Batman R.I.P. Yeah the Scarecrow sequences are a real trip.Especially when Batman is strapped to the table and the Joker is escorting him through the transfer area in Arkham. So yeah Batman’s fist pops out from the grave!! Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 starts with the Secret Wars and skips to Civil War. Marvel will not let the Civil War saga die. I can almost bet that there will definitely be a follow-up to Batman:Arkham Asylum,I’m just hoping Batman goes to Gotham City. How awesome would that be? If Eidos and Rocksteady can apply the same game mechanics to a Superman game,it will fly off the shelves. Yes,gamers and comic book fans alike,DC’s future looks very bright indeed in the twilight of a Blackest Night!
