I got this game for my 4-year old nephew as he is really into insects. He was able to figure how to get his insects to battle with little help from his dad. He recently “beat” the game and was very excited about it!

This was a gift to a nine year old who has spent many hours playing it with no problems. He requested this game, and it is exactly what he thought it would be.

My kids ages 8 and 14 played this game. You get a basic model of an insect that you choose (mantis, scorpion, spider or flying ant) and then you pick a color or mix a color and then you can name your insect. You can create up to four insects and you can give them one of six abilities but you can switch between the abilities. You can upgrade different body parts of the insects but you have to have accumulated power gems. After customizing the insect you then play the game by following the missions. There are four stages and three levels for each stage except for the city stage, that has two levels. Each time you create an new insect you can go through the levels again. The best part is battling the other mutant insects. It is challenging and there are hidden bosses. For the price, it is a good buy!

My 10 year old son and his friends seem to love this game. I don’t know how fun it would be for older kids, but it certainly works for that age.
