I highly doubt you can put this game up there with the beasts of the genre (Call of Duty in my opinion) but this game does offer some entertainment. The controllers take a bit to get used to, I started to hate the game but kept on playing it and so far it has paid off. It is true that the enemy’s AI is insanely good, but as long as you get ahold of a sniper rifle, it will be your best companion. There are a vast array of weapons but sadly I couldn’t really tell you a difference between them, save that they are either rifles, shotguns or sniper rifles. The weapons come in sets of twos, most rifles and shotguns will give you the secondary option of hand grenades, others will give you a grenade launcher and the sniper rifle comes with a pistol (which is hardly of help, I would have liked they let you carry grenades no matter which weapon). As of ammo, you will hardly ever run out of it, and even if you do, you can always pick up the enemy weapons around and replenish yourself. The game also offers a good variety of vehicles, they are insanely easy to use but their armor is a tad on the weak side, say, if you find a tank or a person with an RPG, it will take them two shots for your vehicle to blow up. There is no limit as to how many times you can respawn, so you can keep on dying, but coming back and taking care of whoever killed you last is such a delight. The one thing that is worth mentioning which is annoying and pretty much a downer of the game is the lack of help your comrade.

Battlefield: Bad Company was funny. The explosions were cool, and the plot wasn’t too shabby for a war game. It was unusual, and the characters were humorous. But… it was just missing something. Don’t get me wrong, it was fun to play; it consumed my life for 5 days. But, it was rather short, rather easy and rather mediocre. Would I play the sequel? Yes. But I would wait for a significant price drop, or I’d rent it.

“BATTLEFIELD: BAD COMPANY” is like being in a big screen movie akin to “THE DIRTY DOZEN”, except that you get to be an active part of the action; explosions all around you, enemy tanks aplenty, suddenly attacking you, and your “BAD-COMPANY” squad, assisted by their Air Support Gun Ships, and sneaky relentless ground troops that are determined to end your existence!Even the Theme Song implies that you’re going to be in for a thrilling good time, from the very beginning. The Single Player maps are plentiful, with good scenery, and lots of different scenarios and situations, including manning and flying a Cobra style helicopter: taking off, piloting and/or helming the Gunner’s seat, landing, and if you survive the onslaught, emergency landing, fighting to find fuel and get it back in time before another onslaught of troops and armored vehicles blow the smithereens out of it!The CG are dynamic, and there are plenty of weapons to recover from dying enemies as you and your B-Company squad race from one task to another—all the while—trying to steal as many gold bars from the enemy [and smuggling them under the noses of your regiment] as you can along the journey. It’s become one of my favorite games, and I look forward to a “BATTLEFIELD: BAD COMPANY 3″… GBJ

This is a great game, full of innovation and creativity. As a FPS, it works really well. Killzone 2’s gameplay works in a very similar fashion. However, it’s true strengths are in the fantastic story, voice acting, dialogue, and gameplay. If you’ve never played it, think of it as a game that combines Uncharted’s fun story and dialogue, Killzone 2’s great gameplay, and a revolutionary physics system that lets you destroy everything in the environment from garbage bins to trees and buildings. The price seems too good to be true, but there you have it. Grab this one up for cheap and count yourself lucky.

Battlefield Bad Company turned out to be a really fun game. The campaign is basicly a FPS, but with destructable environment, which provides a different way to approach each objective. The campaign is a decent length, about 8-10 hours, but the fun does not stop there. The multiplayer is where it’s at!! It was a great game to prepare for Battlefield: Bad Company 2. I would definitely recommend this game to any FPS fans out there.

You spend more time walking around looking for collectibles than you do shooting the enemy.
