I was really looking forward to this game since I heard about it. I have only played Battlefield 4 and although there were some lag issues, I loved/love playing it. I expected a little more from Hardline. I really like the new games modes (Hotwire is my favorite) and most of the improvements that BF made, but they also took out a lot of things I loved about BF4. I hate the fact that there are like 1/4 the guns that BF4 had even with the unlockable guns, which btw are nearly impossible to unlock unless you are the best play ever or you boost. Also, there are no jets and limited attack helicopters. Overall, the game is pretty fun, but I would give a slight edge to BF4.
