I have spent countless hours playing this game i love it to death even tho its super hard, Had to find a workaround with it on a Retro Duo Snes/NES console but other then that works great!

  4. Corey

I was questioning the game when i bought the 2nd copy and it got stuck on level 2 in the same spot on both copies, soon i realize, the retro duo for the nes and snes, i dont know if its the ninto part of the console or the game itself but i found out through other users as myself strugling to play this on the retro duo concole, so dont think its your game cause it may not be, i still like the fact that i own a copy, its a classic anyway, thanks.

  5. Mateus Avila

Rash, Zits and Pimple are your toads- your Battletoads! The story- "One day Pimple and Princess Angelica were out cruisin’ when suddenly Pimple and the Princess were captured by the Dark Queen and taken to a nearby planet. Meanwhile back on the spaceship vulture, the Battletoads base… "Hey toads! The Dark Queen’s kidnapped Pimple and Angelica and she’s holding them in the Gargantua. Go get ’em toads!""Yeah let’s get them back! I gotta craving for action! Take us to the rumble, coach! "Not so fast Battlejerks! Before you even reach me you’ll have to beat Robo-Manus and Big Blag. Still fancy your chances? Come to me now, if you dare! Hahahaha!" "I’ve located the Gargantua, toads! She’s hidden beneath the planet’s surface!""Now it’s time to jam!"Level 1- Ragnarok’s Canyon. When your ship drops you off, you’re in an open cave area with yellow spikes coming out of the ground, and dwarf creatures up to no good. Instantly you can tell the play control is really fast and tight. Battle a yellow pole coming out of the ground. The dwarfs come out of the back wall too. You can pick up sticks and smack them with it. You can also bash your shoulder into foes which shows how advanced the gameplay was by NES standards (along with the graphics- VERY nice). Watch out for gray dwarfs, flying pink pigs (you can ride on top of, cool!) and more thorn poles.Suddenly a giant pink pole stomps its way in your direction and you find yourself i.

My son loves the game. he has really wanted it for a long time and now he has it. Great game but very hard!

  10. Charles P.

I have played a lot of games in my time, and this one absolutely tops the charts in difficulty. It is SO difficult. Simultaneously, it is engaging, funny and the levels are original. I really only recommend this to hardcore gaming enthusiasts. Even while using Game Genie with the infinite lives code, this game is nearly impossible to beat. Still, it’s a classic in its own right.Right up there with Dark Souls.
