   PS2最後の弐寺ということで収録曲数はシリーズNo.1!!今回はなんとEMPRESSディスクと PREMIUM BESTディスクの二枚組と豪華です!!実際にプレイしましたが結構いいです、判定良し、カスタマイズの種類が豊富でビックリ!しかしPREMIUM BESTディスクは、ちょっと物足りなさを感じました…これは本当にBESTなのか?と…他にイイ曲もっとあるだろと思いました…個人的にはドラキュラの曲欲しかった……しかし歴代の弐寺を代表する曲が入ってるのでこれ二本あれば十分満足すると思います!これ二本全曲すれば絶対上手くなります♪嗚呼…ドラキュラ

   beatmania IIDX 16 EMPRESS + PREMIUM BEST is a 2009 release, published and developed by KONAMI. It is the very last PS2 exclusive KONAMI game and it also marks the end of the beatmania IIDX series on the PS2. As of writing (June, 2011), there have been three new beatmania IIDX games released for the arcades but none have made it to any game console. Going back to this release, KONAMI has done an over the top farewell for IIDX 16’s home appearance. It is the first and only time that a beatmania IIDX PS2 game was released on 2 DVDs. The first DVD is the home port of beatmania IIDX 16 EMPRESS with all 54 new songs, 12 new songs for the home release, 2 preview songs for IIDX 17 SIRIUS, and 31 revivals for a total of 99 songs on the first disc. The second disc titled “PREMIUM BEST” is a compilation of 99 more songs taken from all previous beatmania IIDX releases from 1st style all the way up to 15 DJ TROOPERS. With the two discs combined you’re getting 198 songs which makes it a really special collection and a must have for all BEMANI fans.The gameplay of beatmania IIDX revolves around a beat matching game where the player’s controller is a turntable (think dj Hero but invented in 1997) with 7 keys. Notes on screen fall like sparkling crystals and the player will hit notes on screen to the music and recreate the song. It’s a “DJ simulation game” but a very far one. Instead beatmania IIDX is a challenging beat matching game that require quick reflexes and more than a sense of rhythm.

   プレミア価格つくだけと価値はある。コントローラがあればなお価値がある。買って損はしてません。入手する際は状態説明をしっかり見るべき。とても楽しめてます。

   最近、専用コントローラが再販されたので、遅まきながら家庭用も始めるにあたって購入。なにより曲のボリューム豊かな収録具合が嬉しい。曲や譜面の傾向も偏り無く、自分の腕と好みに合わせて様々な遊び方が可能。惜しむらくは低難度の曲が非常に少ないところで、完全な初心者の場合は少々、とっつきにくさを感じるかもしれない。この手のゲームで気になるのは画面の遅延であるけれども、過去作の「DJ TROOPERS」や「GOLD」と比べてより細かな調整が出来るので、アーケードもプレイするという人にとっては環境の再現に役立つ。過去作の調整機能も不十分ではないとは思うが、本作を遊ぶのに特にゲーム向きのテレビでなくとも、余程でない限り心配ないというのは大変ありがたい。家庭用が充実しているシリーズなので、どれを買えば良いのか迷う人もいるだろうが、まず買うならば本作で間違いない。過去作品は、収録曲に応じて買い足すのがベストと言える。

   悔しいからやっちゃう。でもクリアできない。収録曲数がとても多いから(ディスク2枚あるしね！)、いろいろな曲が練習できてとても良いです。クリアできないけど。
