It’s older but it works. My kids love it and have already finished it! So much for me playing it longer. However, not sure why I cannot install this locally on my hard drive. hmmm…

its just like the phone game, the only thing i wish is that it was a two player game so me and my husband can play at the same time
IMO, the great thing about XBLA games getting released on disc is that you can rent these discs without having to spend your Microsoft Points to buy the full games. Sometimes you just want to play the full versions of these XBLA games for a little while but don’t want to spend the money on a full blown purchase. Also, a lot of these complilation discs have a better overall value than purchasing the games individually. It’s also a plus if you have multiple Xbox 360 consoles for family member’s and/or friends as you don’t be restricted to the DRM license that is found on the digital download versions of these XBLA games.You even have the opportunity to recoup some of your money if you were to end up selling or trading the disc for money or another game.I liked Bejeweled 3 but for me it’s one of those games that you play for a few hours and then send back to the video store (redbox / gamefly). The disc version sells for around $20 USD or less new which is comparable to purchasing the digital versions on the Xbox LIVE Marketplace. As of January 2011, Bejeweled 3 sells for 1200 MS Points and Bejeweled Blitz LIVE sells for 400 MS Points. There are no Avatar Awards for either game.If you liked the previous Bejeweled games I think you’ll like this one as well. There are a multitude of varied gamemodes and minigames to play.

I originally bought this for my wife but fell in love with it myself. I’ve been a fan of Bejeweled since the first one and this takes it to a whole new level.There are many modes to keep you amused. Classic and Zen are pretty self explanatory. Zen is what Endless was in 2. There’s a mode involving mining for treasure by blasting away blocks or dirt with matches, a poker mode where you fill up combos of colors for poker hands, a mode involving releasing butterflies, a lightning round, a mode where you must shatter ice and a Quest mode where you have a bunch of puzzles and set tasks. These will keep you going and you’re sure to find a mode you like most.Top this off with in game badges for accomplishing certain tasks, a decent list of 360 achievements and a built in copy of Bejeweled Blitz and this is a great package. 5 stars for fun and 4 overall only because there could have been a little more content and you unlock everything like modes relatively quick. That’s not a deal breaker though.Super fun. Get this!!!
