the demo alone got me soo hyped for the release of this game. i can imagine how the rest of the game is gonna be. i love anygame that makes you choose choices. it gives the game great replay value. great graphics, sound, story alone is right out of a blade runner/ghost in a shell & i-robot inspired. im excited for this games release!!! now weeks later that i have it, i must say its even better then i thought. lots and lots of action, exciting boss battles, tight story and graphics, the list goes on. a very fun game anyone will enjoy. i really got my moneys worth!!!

The game itself is more than I ever expected. GREAT!

Heard from a podcast about this under-rated shooter. So far I am loving both the characters and the satisfying dismantling of robots with various weapons. I highly recommend it. Just don’t use the mic to control teammates.

Ok, first off the boss battles in this game are amazingly fun. But to the main reason this game is beyond perfection to me, you are shooting robots the entire time that literally crumble into pieces as you pump lead into them. I was also actually really suprised that other people are saying there is no story to this game, I found myself actually caring to watch the cut scenes, this is honestly a crazy like movie of the year movie that you get to play. the online is so-so but with most shooters its just added for the heck of it. So this review is strictly towards the campaign, but there is a horde type mode that you can play that is actually pretty fun with up to three other people. I played terminator salvation hoping to finally get my fix of blasting robots to pieces, but I was let down badly. Not this time around, if you are a fan of sci-fi such as irobot or terminator or blade runner or sci-fi in general for that fact grab this game. The campaign took me almost exactly 8 hours to finish on normal mode, and I plan on going back at least two more times. Once to play it on hard and one more time after that just because I enjoy feeling like John Connor for once….its actually a game that I will probably never sell just because boredom sucks and this game is just so much fun to pick up at any point in the story and spend an hour making scrap metal out of all those robot bastards.

    Cool game,

The game is pretty simple with just enough variety to keep you involved, the only issue I had was with the AI as all the supporting characters only said about three different phrases once you got into a firefight which got annoying real quick but overall it was fun.

When this game first came out, I took one look at the cover art and the silly name of the title and never looked at it again. When it hit the bargain bins I again ignored it for the same reason. The cover art makes the game look like a cheap 90s game, whereas in fact this game has quite a lot of depth- the visuals, the characters, the gameplay and the plot are all quite engaging, and certainly more so than the popular critics give it credit for. Some highlights of the gameplay”- When the robots are shot they come apart piece by piece and continue to function. So they will continue to crawl at you and shoot you. If you shoot off their head they will walk around shooting blindly. This adds something new to the first person shooter genre.- You earn points as you play which you can cash in to either improve your skills or buy more bullets, med packs, nano enhancements, etc- not to dissimilar to Borderlands.- You get to choose your squad mates and when you are shot down you can either use a medpack on yourself to revive, or if you are out, you can ask one of your squad mates for help. And while you are in this injured state you can still crawl (e.g. into safety) and continue to shoot before you eventually die or are revived by your squad mate.- The script and voice acting are decent (for a Japanese title). Each character has a distinct personality/attitude which makes them engaging though cliched perhaps, but surprisingly they are sometimes humorous. This is refreshing for a FPS. I.

This turned out to be a very addictive game because it combined the elements of a shooter with a story that created not only emotional ties but engages a person’s "morality engine". The moral questions that go with the story really keep you wanting to push to the end and figure out what is right and question where the lines begin to blur.It was a wonderful game and the single player campaign was fantastic. The multiplayer on the other hand leaves much to be desired and was actually quite boring.
