Update****At first there was bugs and the game was way too dark but after the updates they made the game is actually playable, it is good now and really horrific, the hell and environments are really scary, so I end up liking it… just configure the gamma so everything looks goos to the eye and enjoy.

To be perfectly honest, comparing this game with nine developers and a small budget against big name industry titles and developers really isn’t fair. I do admit that the quality of this game falls short of what it could have been. However, it got much closer to the impression I had of the end result than No Man’s Sky did. Because I don’t feel completely cheated as is the norm these days, I’m going to be optimistic about what I’ve judged to be a surprisingly acceptable game. As an aside, I do feel the need to mention that Dante’s Inferno is still a better representation of Hell. I just wish Madmind could have enlisted some talent from Visceral Games to make everything smoother and more enjoyable. That way you get the good story telling, animations, art, gameplay, and have a first person torture simulator in a way that hasn’t been done before.Getting to the premise, you are some guy (who’s name I forgot. Some guy curses you and yells your name 5 times while he burns to death.) and nothing has been made very clear the entire time I’ve been playing. The thing is, I don’t mind that as much as I mind the horrible lip synching and voice acting. Dark Souls is one of my favorite series and none of them have very detailed story-telling. I would have to say the voicing is much better integrated in the Souls series though. In terms of how well aware I am of the story and its progress, I can’t say that I am aware at all through any part of the game. From what I do know, the story so far.

The mechanics aren’t very good. The graphics in the last third of the game feel rushed. Some character models are just butt ugly. Finally the story is barebones. Despite this, I enjoyed the game. The atmosphere is great! Pick it up if there is a sale

La caja venía un poco maltratada y no traía un solo folleto o papel x dentro, desconozco si así viene de fábrica pero me pareció extraño

This is a video game for real grown-ups. Not that it’s so heavy on nudity and violence, but it’s grown up. No digit counters ringing up how many bullets you plugged into enemies, no RPG menues taking up half the screen every three steps so you can assess you inventory. No. This game is flat out design of the environment. Did I mention it takes place in Hell? Dante’s Inferno literally comes to mind as you search through environments made out of mutated body parts, giant teeth, ponds of blood, you know, Hell. The gameplay is frequently mind warping, and even body warping as you crawl through twisted interdimensional pathways to reach next layers. Madmind Studio obviously spent countless hours grooming the environment in many ways. The look of the game is gruesomely pretty. Well thought out. Design school grads with top honors probably worked on the art. There’s no cheap-o cut & paste background art. They made fabulous use of the Unreal 4 motion platform. I am seriously loving this game, for its design aspects and for it’s plot. Nice stuff if you want a game that is a refreshing break from the usual shooters and over the top action titles.

It sucks how far this game has fallen in the past year. I still enjoyed it despite the bugs and plan on getting the platinum trophy at some point.
