This has to be by far the best football game i have ever played on any console. I have had many consoles, now only a 360 but this game is better than Madden for sure. 2k should just take over and continue making awesome games like this from now on.

When I first heard about this game and that you could play football legends I was ecstatic. Finally a football video game that actually has the great football legends and with their actual names, numbers and faces. With special skills and stats for each one. It seems to me the makers of this game must be Dallas Cowboy fans because I was able to fill my roster with all time Cowboy greats. Such as Roger Staubach, Emmit Smith, Drew Pearson, Ed Too Tall Jones, Moose Johnston, Alvin Harper, Harvey Martin, Ken Norton Jr., Charlie Waters, Leon Lett, and even an ex-Cowboy Kicker Murray. There is also Randy White, Troy Aikman, Cliff Harris, Billy Joe Dupree, and Bob Lilly.Problems: The field goal kicking and kick offs are all screwed up, even if you do everything perfectly it is still impossible to make anything more than a 15 yard field goal and it is very difficult to get a decent kickoff!Make sure you save the game in your profile! It will not save your progress automatically. The game gets progressively harder as you move forwards into the season. This is to be expected, except it is so hard that it is next to impossible to beat certain teams taking the fun out of the game,. More on this later….The game has special moves and abilities for each player that you have to use controller configurations to make happen. However, the moves are not in the manual and they are very trying to use even if you do know them.Solutions to problems: One thing that keeps happening in the game is you.

I got this game because of the ability to play with the great superstars of the past. The one downside to this game is that you can only create 8 teams. I would have loved to create 12 teams and use some of the players I was unable to use with the 8 teams. I also created 5 or 6 players but am not able to include them in the game being limited to the number of teams I could create. I created Dan Fouts my all-time favorite QB. Another minor burn was the fact I could not create team nicknames but had to use what game provided. I never have figured out how to use the uniform edit package. The commentary gets old and the high pitched voice of Dan gets annoying at times. The stadiums are cool for the innovative look especially the Indians and the rustlers and gunslingers. I do wish the qb’s would get set quicker get too many delay of game penalty’s to suit me. Over all I give this game 15 stars despite some of the minor burns mentioned above. I very much commend this game to you.

Ok….got it….and I love it!first thing you do when loading up the game is it’s a no BS kinda game to get intoYou pick your players, and jump right into customizing…I easily spent an hr trying to get my team the way i wanted it to be.The legends pretty much look like who they are. but still can tell it’s a computer game…most have retained thier signature game. After that I played a quick game….so far I am impressed….2K didn’t miss a beat…they still retained the 1/2 time show…all the hits all the playability that made 2K5 such a hit….the controls will take a bit getting used to but it’s pretty easy to jump into….framerate was pretty steady and the animations was excellent…great AI also.Commentary still hasnt changed much but still gets you into the gameOne play my AI defender caught a sideline interception…instead of stepping out of bounds like per usual, he tightroped it and turned upfield for more yards….the CPU AI isn’t any slocuh either and will start bottling you up if you call too much of the same thing.this game is a real winner and sure maybe if they had the NFL licence it would give Madden a SERIOUS run….but right now….it’s a great start by 2K.2K is back in the game….don’t be surprised if Madden pulls all the bells and whistles out due to competition this year!!!

The gameplay is simply fantastic. This game requires you to approach it with real-life football tactics. You can set 3 plays as audibles for each formation, unlike EA’s next gen offerings. The lacking of franchise mode in single player is a bummer.

Played the demo that Xbox offered. Is why I decided to purchase full version. Had fun with the game. Easy to understand how to operate controls. Now eager to get into this game and play!

The only thing that Madden games have over this game is the graphics that’s all!. I’ve learned that graphics don’t mean crap when the gameplay and other aspects stink!. This game is Number 2 only behind All Pro Football 2k5. With the New Editor you can create an unlimited number of designs and franchise editor beats madden by far!.

I have to admit that this game didn’t exactly blow me away, but it’s still good fun. After you boot the game up, you immediately have to create a team. I am a Cowboys fan from back in the day, so naturally I chose Aikman, Emmitt Smith, and Darryl “The Moose” Johnston. Unfortunately they didn’t put Michael Irvin in the game, so I chose Alvin Harper as my WR. I just played an exhibition game to warm up.The controls are practically identical to 2K5, but they added a few new moves and animations (like the reach tackle) that open things up a bit. The game plays a little more sluggish than 2K5, but it still feels realistic. I have seen some nasty hits and some great gang tackles. I also have noticed a couple of weird animations and glitches (for example, on one play my RB crashed to the ground about 1/2 second before the LB tackled him). The graphics are just okay. I’ll just say that is looks slightly upgraded from 2K5, but not a huge jump. I would definitely say Madden looks better. The customization is great. You have to choose a team name (more selections would have been nice) and stick with their assigned team logo, but then you can customize the entire uniform, including colors for helmets, jerseys, shoes, gloves, elbow pads, etc, etc. My team (Dallas Cougars) definitely looks like the Cowboys.Another thing to note is that the star players do not necessarily dominate the field. I made some good runs and catches with my generic players. The star players do have some cool animati.
