Great game – new edition doesn’t really add much, but it does have some great minis.
This is an old school, good time head knocking classic. Take American football, add a touch of sensibilities from Tolkien and the Road Warrior and set it to a thrash metal score, bring a sense of humor and there you are. Play it just as is out of the box or add what you like. Games Workshop is remembering once again they produced some great board games before they dived headlong into the minis biz. This is one of them.
You lookin’ te find out who can kraump and bash da bestest? Look no further. ‘Ere you’ll find the storied franchise of the Gouged Eye orcs immortalized in proppa 32mm. What goodz an orc without a proppa fight? You be askin de right questions. A ragtag band of Humiez dat call ‘mselves the Reikland Reivers share the pitch.Paint them/don’t paint them it’s a good start to the hobby ain’t a true tabletop gamer that would ignore a clash of cunning but brutal, or brutal but cunning gameplay.
Great condition
A bigger pitch with some very well sculpted and easy to assemble models has made this my favorite GW product of all time. Expand it with the Skaven and Undead team boxes to really get the full scope of the game.
One of GW’s greatest achievements. A quality game, packed with superbly detailed models, and loads of additional extras. You can tell a lot of care and effort went into this.

Its a great game, everything you need to play is there. I did buy some glue to glue the pieces together but you dont need to they snap together.

Blood bowl has been around for awhile. The rules themselves have been through multiple versions and so have the box releases. This one by far is the best release and presentation of blood bowl.For anyone who hasn’t played Blood bowl this is a strategy game. Like most sports, you get two halves in which to score points and win. Each team gets 8 turns per half. Once you learn it, the game can be played in about two hours. The game can be very chaotic due to the dice, and there is a risk/reward strategy because a lot of actions are done during your turn. With many of these actions, if you mess up it can result in a turnover and your turn is done. That means if your first roll goes south there is a possibility that your turn can end on your first action. The two teams presented are pretty equal. The humans have more passing ability and the orcs can just bulldoze through everything. There’s also nothing stopping you from playing the orcs as humans or humans as orcs. The humans have 2 catchers, and the orcs have 2 blockers. Those models can easily sub for one another for human vs human or orc vs orc. So there’s a few ways to get some extra play out of it.This box stands alone very well with no additions whatsoever. You can get a lot of enjoyment without buying anything else. If you can find enough people though Blood Bowl really shines in league play. Leagues add an RPG element and your team changes over time. Players grow in strength, get injured/killed, you can p.

My new favorite go-to game. Completely addicting, easy to learn, and a lot of fun. I’m now in an official NAF league, definitely brings a new level of fun and strategy to the game.

Favorite board game at home. Pieces come in blue and green color so can be played without painting. Orks mostly snap fit together, but some (blitzers) need glue to stay together as they are used.

Why not Five stars, since I love Blood Bowl? There are a couple of places where when cutting off the minis from their sprues (using a GW cutter), I cut off what needed to be plugged into another piece. Necessitating glue. If I hadn’t, then they would have fit together just great. No complaints about value for what you get in the box. Wish Skaven had been in the box as their tails tend to snap in the atrociously thin boxes when mailed.Playable out of the box if you are careful about what you cut.The Ogre that you can buy separately for Blood Bowl. Is atrocious. Very poor assembly instructions and hard to glue. That’s not included, but just to warn you. Don’t get the Ogre and have your kid think he’s going to use it right away like the minis in the box.Love Blood Bowl and am very pleased with what you get in the box.

Awesome game, teacher used it to teach us more in depth game mechanics and how this game has just about every type there is. Gameplay can take a while to get used to but it is really fun once you learn.
