This is the best game that I have and now I use my Wii again (other than for the Netflix streaming). If I had to guess, some of the dance moves are improvised to fit the game and not what I would describe as “MJ moves”, but most of the dancing involve his signature moves. If anything, some of the dancing would be done by MJ if he was just messing around – but that’s just my opinion. My 4 year old likes this game as well (she can’t get a star, but doesn’t care right now, it’s just fun to her). This is a MUST for MJ fans especially. The graphics are great with natural movements by MJ and his dancers but I do take issue with the faces being blurred (on everyone, both the dancers and MJ). There’s probably a reason for it, I just don’t know what it is. I think anyone who enjoys MJs music and wants to dance for exercise would really enjoy this game.

    Gotta love Michael!

This product arrived exactly as described! Used product; however, it was in stellar condition. I reviewed the disc and saw no visible scratches and it arrived in original packaging which was very well taken care of. I have had no issues from the disc and the game plays perfectly. Highly recommend!! Also, just as an FYI… NO ONE can beat me on Thriller!! This game is SO much fun!! THANK YOU!!

My grandkids loved it! To bad the WII stopped working.

Review by the wife. As I was an MJ fan in the 70s & 80s (danced and roller skated to his music), I wanted to get the game for my wii! Good Lord, the energy it takes to do the dance moves is amazing. It has been a BLAST to try and do the hands and feet together! Most of the songs have multiple levels that can played at the same time – so one player can choose Hard and will follow Michael and another player can choose Easy and follow the dance crew. Except with Thriller – the only choices are Hard and Inhuman. Not kidding. As I said, it’s fun. As you progress through the songs, it does open up dance school videos that let you learn the actual moves in MJ’s videos – but some of the moves are the same as the ones in the game. Another interesting part is the words to the songs. All these years listening to “Wanna Be Starting Something” and not realizing the lyrics are “you’re a vegetable They eat off of you, you’re a vegetable, who should be on a buffet.” Priceless!!! Gives me an edge over my competition when they are on the floor laughing their… well… LMAO. Hey, I’ll take the points where I can get it!!!

I had gotten several great reviews from friends and coworkers. I had no idea this would be as fun as it is. I totally recommend this purchase. My nephew loves Michael Jackon and desires to dance just like him. Once he found out i had purchased it, he spends all of his time trying to learn the moves and not beat the high scores. Kudos to the designers of “The Experience.”Shhhh: When the kids are at school, I secretly play when I’m off so that I can beat all the high scores and replace them with my name! I know shame on me! Have fun!Other recommendation: Just Dance 2 i can not get enough. Great family fun

Brought this for my wife. She enjoy this game as well. The song on here make it interesting to dance to and easy as well. I would definately recommend this game.

I am NOT the biggest MJ fan, but this game is AWESOME! I can’t believe it took me so long to purchase it. This past Thanksgiving, we were all dancing and enjoying Michael Jackson’s greatest hits. The choreography for the some of the songs are easy (as stated) and others are more difficult but I guarantee you that you and your family will have a blast attempting to keep up with Michael, the backup dancers or the "undead" dancers that are specifically in Thriller. Yes, I do believe that we’ll make this a part of our annual Thanksgiving tradition! FUN!!!!

The first thing I thought about when I saw this was, “Wow, I love this…his music is awesome, and now I can relive the 80’s and dance like him!” When I got it I sat on the couch and went through one song’s arm movements and then tried another standing up…quickly I realized that I can’t dance and it’s gunna take some time to learn these moves!!!! HOwever, my strategy to share with you all is learn from the top down. As in, arm movements first and then legs. It’s tough, but a lot of fun!!! I got my husband involved and we both had a really embarassing and fun time trying to dance. I recomend this one to anyone who loves to dance and likes MJ. The only thing I’m not quite sure about is the fact that you have to earn 10 stars before one of the video dance lessons opens up. I think you should get these first and then the songs open up one by one instead.

I got the Micheal Jackson Experience Wii game after seeing it being played at my neighbor’s house. I honestly had no idea it even existed before then. I was most excited to see “Smooth Criminal” and “Thriller” on the game. Those two dance sequences didn’t disappoint. There are different levels in some of the games for harder or easier dance routines. Some of the titles are slower than others, but still true to Michael Jackson’s dance style. The setup is fast and easy – plug in and go. The graphics are great and the game interacts with the wii remote through vibration and sound effects at key milestones. The scoring in this game keeps track of everyone’s ability to dance to the step in rhythm by awarding 0-5 stars. This enables you to “win” a dance-off independently. However, the sum of everyone’s stars add up to award the unlocking of bonus training videos. The training videos are recorded videos by choreographer’s to teach you how to do a particular Michael Jackson step. The video is of good quality. I have not found these particularly entertaining, but I do like to see how many stars I can add up nonetheless. If you appreciate Michael Jackson’s music and dancing and want to enjoy a workout, you will not be disappointed in this wii game.
