RARELY DOES A GAME COME ALONG THAT HAS IT ALL! LOTS OF ACTION, COOL DINOSAURS TO ANNIHILATE, NOT TOO HARD PUZZLES , AND LOTS OF FUN PLAYING IN GENERAL..AND A VERY GOOD PLAYSTATION TITLE TO BOOT!!I LOVED PLAYING THIS GAME A LOT , AND EQUALLY LOVED ” DINO CRISIS 2 ” AS WELL! Let me give it to you really short and sweet! Did you like Resident Evil? Then you will like Dino Crisis; it’s Resident Evil with dinosaurs. All Capcom did was change the characters and instead of shooting zombies you get to shoot and kill raptors and other dinosaurs that are trying to eat you.I myself am a fan of Resident Evil so for the price this is a cool game. The same problems from RE come with Dino Crisis however…. lack of ammo!! Besides this it’s a fun game, lots of puzzles to figure out and lots of shoot first ask questions later type of fun.
A lost gem from the original playstation days. Very happy to reclaim this for my collection and was in near mint condition. Thank you.
Dino Crisis is a great game — lots of excitement, suspense, and action. It doesn’t fail there. I beat it in four days (seven hours playing time), though, so definitely rent it first.Some of the voice acting is weak, but it’s not the worst out there. The story will keep you interested, as will the battles with the enemy dinosaurs. An added plus is the decisions you must make at key points in the story, but even this (and the different costumes) isn’t enough to give the game the replay value it needs to make it a 5-star game.
No analog controlls. No File Collection. WHAT? It was a let down. I totally forgot about this lacking since I haven’t played it in years. The cutscene graphics are ace,though and the experience is a good break from creatures and zombies. Regina is so brave and interesting. Yes,I recommend it.

If ya likie dinosaurs, you will like this game. If you enjoy survivor horror games this is a good one to play.Keeps you going and the story line is good.
Dino Crisis is a game for people that like to be scared. Frightening sequences like a T-rex busting into a room in a second story building to eat you in one bite to a velociraptor jumping down from the ceiling of an elevator onto you are a small sample of the scares you will face. The storyline is interesting and unique, but young people will probably not understand it fully. You are Regina, a very attractive redhead with a wardrobe that will make you say yum! This is overall a masterpiece and I really enjoy it.
Dino crisis is a very scary game, and overall, i think better than the sequal! Its just like resident evil but more scarier at times (when t-rex broke through the glass, that scared the H E double hockey sticks out of me!) The one thing i didn’t like is that, i was reading my walk through (note: i didn’t use it to beat the game) and it said that shooting should be the last thing u do against a dino! I see why and its because of lack of ammo………… BUT HEY, as long as theres enough to keep ur guns loaded who gives! I mean if u have enough and u get more little by little, i think thats fine, u dont need a whole pile of ammo!

I always wanted to play this game as i’ve heard alot of good things about it, it was a decent price and it was sent at a VERY quick time! i totally recommend buying stuff from this guy!

An awsome game! The graphics are amazing, and what I found most impressive about this wonderful survival horror game is the fact that even the gameplay itself is like watching a movie. Just seeing Regina walk down a darkened cellar as things that tear and claw human flesh are active about, is an impressive cinamatic event and almost an FMW sequence within itself. The gameplay is fun, but at times a little frustrating, but almost every game is a little frustrating. A lot of gore, and although I’m not into gore too much, I still thought that this game was an awsome event, and it’s something that you don’t wanna miss out on. It’s games like dino crisis which show off the wonderful and moneys worth of a playstation one, even if the system is considered a little outdated, which I don’t think is true at all, since I believe that Playstation is still worth playing. Get the game, it is so incredibly fun that it is unbelievable.

I first played Dino Crisis when it was first released back in about 1999 if my memory serves right and if it doesn’t, well sucks to be me because that just means I’m getting old faster then I thought. The game was fun and being 9 or 10 at the time it scared the living crap right out of me, especially when the flying dino minced me into a fine snortable powder with the fan or when the T-Rex just wouldn’t die. A very memorable and fun game, a must pick up if you’re a Capcom fan like me.

This game is fun, don’t get me wrong, but the problem is that this game offers nothing new to the style of game created by Capcom’s own Resident Evil series. Basically its the same story you’re trapped on an island where dinosaur research has run amuck and your goal is the escape before getting devoured by the many dinosaurs you’ll run accross while playing this game. ALong the way you’ll have to also solve some puzzles to be able to escape the island. So basically if you enjoyed Resident Evil or any of its clones, Dino Crisis is a game for you.

This game isn’t historically important(in the history of videogames), it’s derivitive, and flawed, but I still had a lot of fun playing it. It’s like a good b-movie. I tend not to like the graphics of playstation games, I preferred the snes back in the day, but here they work. The graphics lean towards realism but have a hint of anime influence, and I think they did a really great job on the dinosaur models, and most of the animations are pretty expressive, the limping of Regina when she’s injured for example. The grainyness of the graphics enhance the b-movie feel. The voice acting isn’t great but each character has a distinct personality. I also enjoyed the item mixing system, this allows you to customize the difficulty of the game, you can choose to use weak items or level+ items. There is also a decent amount of strategy in the game depending on the kind of weapon you use: raptors will be unfazed, stunned, or knocked down depending on the strength of the weapon; and there are also laser shields in some areas you can use to knock down raptors in order to run from them.Flaws: the first and most serious flaw in the game is that the areas on the map aren’t labeled, this is idiotic, it means that when you find clues with room specific information then, unless you have a great memory, you won’t know where to look. Another problem is that sometimes important objects in the environment will blend in with the background and look unimportant, there is a key slot that would have tak.
