Camera angles and controls are not as good as Bomberman Ultra. Especially in story mode where the area gets large and it zooms to keep players on the screen. The angles make it hard to tell where edges are and using the analog sticks with the angle is prone to error. So I stick with the D-pad.My biggest complaint is story mode. You basically have to play story mode to earn gems to unlock (buy) all the characters and arenas for your battle mode fun! But the complaint isn’t that. It is that the story mode cut scenes are so bad and can’t be skipped. If I could at least skip them instantly, or better yet an option to auto skip all cut scenes, that would be so much better. The story is so bad and then poorly told and executed on top of it all.So not my favorite bomberman game. I would love just an updated Bomberman Ultra with even more arenas. But this will have to do for now.Bottom line, I would stick with Ultra until this game is twenty or less.
It’s bomberman. Sadly I got this to play online and hardy anyone plays it at all. Well, hopefully they will when it’s goes on sale. A disappointment.
The game is fun like most Bomberman games from the past. The graphics are nice and are all you would want in a current version of this old franchise. I will say that there doesn’t seem to be many people playing online, because it takes forever to find a match. If you like local vs. or co-op stuff, this game is for you.
$19.99 is a nice price to get a game like this!
