My grandson really enjoys it! It came with Mario pre-installed, We can’t figure out how to play the games that were purchased separately. I would of gave it 5 stars! Update..Gamestop sold my grandson 3 used games for $60 that didn’t work. one not working…maybe, but all 3 games. Took advantage of 9 year old…They just lost my business!
Got this for my 7 yr old. She’s had it a month and the screen is out…not broken, but something behind it is not working.
A decent well made cheaper version of the 3ds, I got this instead because the 3d effects give me a headache and didnt need to pay for something I want going to use, I really like the color combination of this particular one, and it feels sturdy when playing it, my only complaint is that I played it at night and noticed on the top panel around and even away from the screen the light was bleeding through the plastic, I dont know if the paint or plastic is thick enough around random areas but i have looked up AMD saw many people having the same issues
The D pad was a little loose, but other than that in perfect condition. Unfortunately, Mario Kart 7 is downloaded onto a 4gb sd card, meaning if you want a bigger card, you have to loose the game, but still an excellent purchase.
Not to bad so far outside of the fact that I couldn’t use the screen protector on it which makes me upset since it’s for my younger son. No other problems so far..
this item deserve full 5 star , but the item arrive to me inside a box bigger than the original new 2ds xl box, and nothing inside the big box to hold the original box ?the good news is the original box look great and nothing on it , but I am not going to open the box or use the 2ds so I do not know if the device working or not , anyway I will keep it with my collection
I love Nintendo products… this is a nice system. Does a bunch of stuff I don’t need but whatever. My only complaint is the loose screen hinges, on mine one side shifts slightly up and down, besides the normal play between hinge clicks… after a few google and reddit searches sounds like the hinges are loose on purpose… I thought about returning for another but it doesn’t sound like it would make a difference due to inconsistency in the product. So that’s a little annoying to me but the system works well otherwise. I would still recommend it.
Very cool system. Thought for an older system price should be lower.
I like it in general , but there was an issue with top screen on the top & down left corners . They are showing darker light compared with the other areas of the screen . However , everything else works fine and very nice portable gaming device which I really like .
great slim case, volume sucks, you can barely hear games. Also the battery life is embarrassing. The most I have ever gotten is 5 hours.

The New Nintendo 2DS XL is just great bat…the only down side Is the Product Review page that doesn’t give Enough information about the AC adapter. Apparently, the package contains a charger that does not fit electricity in countries outside the United States…The package arrived and my son was very happy but … we couldn’t charge and had to order a charge separately…I would expect it to be clearly displayed on the product page

I ordered this as a backup to my heavily used new 3ds xl just in case it kicked the bucket or Nintendo discontinues the entire DS line since the switch lite is now out (new 3ds xl already discontinued).Let me first say I am not normally a purple color guy but this color is great in person and the pictures don’t do it justice. This unit is much lighter then the new 3ds xl and it feels great in my hands. Only real design issue I saw was the speaker location. With the way I hold the DS systems my hands are almost always covering the speaker holes.So my plan was to do a full charge, initial setup then play Xenoblade to test the screens, buttons, and joysitcks to check for defects before putting it back in the box for storage until it was needed.First issue I noticed right after looking the system over was that the c stick (or nub) was off center down and to the right. It wasn’t a huge deal and it was something I could live with so I moved on to check everything else, and then noticed a real problem.The circle pad (left joystick) side to side movement was very rough and randomly stuck if any downward pressure was applied. Up and down movement was a little rough but more in the realm of a new joystick needing to broken in. Unfortunately the side to side movement didn’t get any better and honestly felt worse after moving it in circles and side to side for almost two hours to just see if there was just some extra material from the factory that was rubbing and would go away.I decided.

Excellent product. very light and has all functions except for 3D. Fingerprints easily stick to cover, but that’s a minor issue. Make sure you use the correct charger specification for your outlet voltage especially if you are shipping internationally, otherwise it will not charge. It comes with a 120v charger, so get a 220v charger or buy a USB cable with it.

Received Nintendo 2DS about two weeks ago have been enjoying it tremendously. This newer version is lighter making it comfortable to use. I love the games that are available! I just want to give a warning in regards to screen protectors that adhere to the screens for protection. I was in a panic when after installing the protective film on both screens the unit no longer worked!!! The control buttons would not respond even when I tapped on the screen the unit remained non responsive! At first I thought that I had damages the unit when I applied the protective film but I was thrilled when after removing the film the unit worked perfectly!!!

I was worried that I may get a messed up 2DS since I’m ordering it on retrolio, but immediately realized that wasn’t the case. It came in perfect condition with all buttons working properly and literally zero dead pixels on my screens. Definitely worth all the money I spent on it.
