We have enjoyed the game, at a teenage birthday party as well as just one or two kids playing together. It is fun. It has some great songs. If you like to move, it has dancing as well. The price was good. The down sides:In order to get to more songs, you have to play the same ones over and over again and sort of “buy” them. The dancing is tough and hard to follow sometimes.I would buy it again and would recommend it to friends. Probably good for beginners and experienced users alike.

This is a very fun game – The dancing parts are a lot of fun for all age groups – I am 23 and play with friends, I bring it to the Y where I work and the kids there love it, my parents came to visit this weekend and even they had fun.I wish the singing part had an option of listening to the song before you have to sing it or something like that because in order to do the singing parts successfully you have to know the song and not everyone does – but I’ve played a lot of karaoke games and they are all similar to this one. The problem is that these songs are all recent top 40 type of songs that not everyone knows while in other games they are old classics that everybody has heard like “Dust in the Wind”Overall a lot of fun and a good price!

Bought for a 7 year old niece. My 10 year old daughter has this and loves it, so I knew that my niece would like it, because she likes to perform just as much as my daughter does.

I didn’t know what to expect from this game when I bought it originally however I quickly became a fan. My nieces are addicted to it. Not only do you have to learn dance routines, but you also get to compete against three other people if you choose to. The only downside is that they don’t have you sing and dance at the same time, which is what I expected when I bought the game. The game becomes more and more fun the better you get at it. The music comes from recent hits so it keeps the younger generation interested.

My daughter wanted this because it had several bands that she loves on it. I haven’t heard any complaints yet from her. I’ve heard, due to ease dropping, her voice magnified (distorted) where it doesn’t sound very good. It only last a short time, but am not sure why it does this. Maybe it’s part of the game.

After reading many of the reviews on Boogie Superstar, including mentions of its potential as a good workout game, I decided to pick up a microphone-free copy, and I’m glad I did! Prior to this game, my favorite game for a fun but effective dance workout was “Rayman Raving Rabbids TV Party”‘s “Dancing With Dweebs” game. That’s still one of my favorites, but this game is my new alternate dance workout game. Many of the reviewers of Boogie Superstar mentioned that they found either the cover versions of the game’s songs annoying, or that they had issues with the inconsistency of the game’s tracking of your movements via the Wii remote. I haven’t found myself to be terribly annoyed by the songs (yet), but that may change as time goes on… So far, though, so good. Since I don’t spend a huge amount of time listening to much pop music, the covers don’t bother me quite as much as they normally might. No, they’re obviously not the originals (EA would’ve probably had to shell out HUGE amounts of money for the rights to use those), but they’re really not that bad, in my opinion. As for the game’s accuracy in reading movements made with the Wii remote, however, I have noticed that what’s been said before has proven to be true for me, at least as far as one particular dance move goes – sometimes the game reads your movements as accurate, sometimes it reads your movements as being off, even when you’re doing them the same exact way, time after time. Since, for me, it IS just one dance move.

I checked in forums and it seems that the language it comes in is not English here in the U.S. Don’t worry the subtitles are in English. This aside, the game is awesome. We bought it and the first day played it for 7hrs straight. That is worth the cost alone. Mom Dad and our daughter (6) are all having fun with this game. Who cares how stupid you make look, just close the windows and the blinds. Did not really think I would be into it, but it is so addictive. Get it, you will enjoy it I’m sure.

My daughter got this game for Christmas. She loves Hannah Montana and HSM, but was really dissapointed with those singing/dancing games. Boogie Super Star just rocks!!Someone else has already written about all the different parts of the game, so I will just tell you what we like etc.The one downside to it is that you have to go in with the name/symbols they give the character you pick. You can go in and change that, but it would be nice to do it from the beginning. However as far as the clothing being locked etc, we wanted to get into playing the game so much that we left them as they came. The Superstar mode is a blast. You can customize your contest so you can do as much dancing/singing/duets as you want. You can even choose less than three rounds if you want. You can also choose your songs or let them be picked at random. If you choose the random option the game makes sure it does not pick songs that are too easy for you. Once you score high enough it says some songs are too easy and you can still sing them but it assesses a penalty like -0.5 points, etc.At first we went with the songs we knew, but it was actually more fun to let the computer choose to spice things up and let you learn more of the songs.Another fun thing you can do is let “vickie” the evil judge, add some glitches while you sing. She will drop bombs on your songs that do things like distort the music, make the pitch markers invisible, take away the music, scribble on top of the lyrics. It doen’t la.
