It is a travel size – sort of – it doesn’t have the full tuxedo colored figurines normally found in other copies I’ve played of "Hey! That’s My Fish!" Otherwise, it’s great.

I could’ve read the reviews to figure out that this is a SMALL game. But, we’ve played a bigger version before (my husband, 6 year old daughter and I) and we love this game. It’s clever, requires strategy and forethought. Almost like a simplified chess- you have to visualize and anticipate potential moves. I reccommend this for families OR adults looking for a quick (20min) easy set-up strategy game!

Fun quick game and is easy to learn.

Fun game, a small game, enjoyed playing it by its rules and then played cards down and had just as much fun! Did I put enough words in?
WVLibrarydude –
Easy game to teach the family with quick play. Quickly hem in the competition to see who gets the most fish.

Bought this on request from a 7 year old granddaughter. We loved it. Kids need to be able to lay out and pick up the smallish cardboard tiles with dexterity. She had no problem with it but some might get frustrated. I didn’t see the strategy of the game and she picked it up immediately and beat me every game. A game is played rather quickly which makes it fun for young and old and nobody gets bored.

Very fun , and is pretty small .

This is a very friendly and easy to teach/play game. The ability to set different shapes for the initial map and the position of the fish tiles being random allow you to play it a lot of times. Good for families or to be used as a filler on a gaming night.

Don’t be fooled by the cuteness, there is a fair amount of strategy involved in this game making it pretty enjoyable and giving it quite a bit of replay value. The tiles are a bit small but overall the pieces are of a decent quality. Plus, it has penguins!

Hey That’s My Fish plays quickly (~5 mins). Some say that it takes longer to setup than to play but I haven’t found that to be true. You’re trying to collect the most fish while keeping your opponent from collecting fish. With the kids it’s a sweet game that they can easily grasp. But with the adults it turns into a backstabbing take-that slugfest. It’s awesome. A great addition to any collection.
