  1. LAF

Bought it for my daughter-in-law for a Christmas gift. They love it!

  2. JMun233

    Quick easy family game.

  3. EZtrack

    Great game 👍

  4. Kit

I would give this 4.5 stars to be honest, and the reasoning behind that is that the game is sooo much smaller than I thought it would be. That being said, the pieces are great quality, very thick and sturdy. The game is very fun too! Very easy to pick up and learn, my 5 year old loves it and is now starting to understand the strategy behind it a bit too(trying to strand your opponent on small "islands" with low number fish, ect) So it is very easy for a young kid to pick up and learn the basics of strategy while still being fun for everyone else, which is exactly what I was looking for in this game!

  5. LoganG

Bought this game for my 8 year old as he loves anything to do with penguins. The game is easy to learn and while simple, there is a fair bit of strategy that needs to be considered. The game takes five minutes to set up and five minutes to play. Fun for up to four players it is a nice quick game for the whole family.

  6. I. Niles

This game has a good deal of strategy for being as small as it is. The game "board" is made of hex tiles, which is a bit of a pain to set up each game (compared to how quickly the games go), but it also means they can be put in all sorts of different arrangements. Tiles you leave "melt" and give you points – each player’s turn shrinks the game board. No text/reading required, so it’s good for young players, but has enough depth to appeal to adults, as well.

  7. Rootless

The pieces are a little small for the young hands for which it is intended. It is a really fun game.Highly recommended.

I received this game for Christmas this year and immediately broke it open to play with my father is also an unplugged gamer. With the amount of great board games out there like Pandemic, Mage Knight, Libertalia, Seasons, and the 100s of other great games that a lot of people have never heard of, this is a gem of a game. I’m not sure if it says it anywhere, but this is a very small edition of the game and I’m not sad! The pieces may not be friendly to have with a very young child. I can fit the box in my winter jacket pocket.Learning the rules takes about 3-5 minutes to read and they are beyond simple. It’s as easy as this. You can only move in a straight line and as far as you wish, you can’t jump over pieces and you can’t jump over holes. The square you leave from you pick up and you add that tile to your point total. The tiles have between 1-3 fish on them. Whoever has the most fish wins! We played it with kids and it was a big hit. What’s funny is that it is deceptively strategic if you play with people who enjoy those kind of games. My father and I can play a game in about 5 minutes and right when it’s done he immediately puts the board back together.I think that anyone with a heart beat that enjoys spending time with their friends and family will enjoy this quick game. Don’t expect it to fill your entire evening, but it’s a fantastic way to spend 30 minutes and get 4 games in.

    Loved it. Kids game

  10. Lee McGaan

My son, grandson (age10), and I had a lot of fun playing together. Easy to learn but it remained challenging. A good multigenerational game.
