My nephew love this game
When I bought this game I thought I was buying the PC version, and I don’t have an XBox 360… however, with extremely fast shipping and the good shape this product appears to be in, I can’t be anything but happy that I have it, and I will be getting a 360 to play it on. From what I’ve seen so far, I love it!
I bought this game for my brother at his request. He played it ALL WEEKEND he was at our house, and told me several times that it was one of the best games he’s ever played!!

We own nearly every cabelas game and this is by far our favorite. We were hoping activision would do another one similar, but nothing compatible yet. We have had this for several years now and we play it more than all our other games except Star Wars battlefront ii (another great game that needs a matching addition).Admitidly we do not like the violent hunting games and are more interested in somewhat family friendly games. We like to hunt for real, so this is a great game for us.
This is a really cool game. My kids and I enjoy it. There are several levels to play and I recommend it to anyone.
This game is incredibly fun whether you like hunting in real life or if your one of those gamers that just wants to have fun running around and shooting things!
The outdoor environments of Cabela’s African Safari similar to Cabela’s Dangerous Hunts 1 are big but not TOO BIG, so you can explore the areas all on your own without using the HUD that displays colored dots on screen locating where the animals are when you get near them. You can choose to turn the HUD on or off but I kept it off for most of the game especially when hunting the large animals as they are easier to spot out in a distance without any help from the HUD which makes the exploration element of this game far more fun. And quickly glancing at the map once in a while to make sure you cover and explore the entire area is always helpful. Cabela’s Big Game Hunter 2008 is another Cabela’s hunting game with outdoor areas not too big making it easy to explore on your own, in fact the areas of Cabela’s Big Game Hunter 2008 are slightly smaller compared to the overall areas of Cabela’s African Safari. All 3 games I mentioned are great as well as Dangerous Hunts 2. A new Cabela’s hunting game of big or dangerous animals in same size or slightly bigger environments than Cabela’s African Safarai where you can also turn on or off the HUD will always be welcomed in my videogame collection.
