Great updated graphics and memorable storyline… played and owned the original version of the game many years ago…looks and sounds phenomenal on my 4k hdtv…A+++

I’m not quarantined. I’m “essential” and don’t work from home. When I am home and have time to play games, I don’t reach for my great single-player titles. I hop right into “Shipment” and let the mayhem begin!!

A lot of people are complaining about the download size and the xbox live requirement. Let’s get something straight. EVERY triple A game has a HUGE download file these days (because we complained so much about load times in the past), so this game is not unique in that capacity. Second, if you are trying to play Call of Duty without an Xbox live connection, you are a fool. Who is spending $60 for a few hours of campaign? Those two things aren’t valid complaints in my eyes.Moving on from that: Is the game perfect? No, not at all. I feel like everyone’s expectations were a little too high for this game. The online play is a lot of fun, and really brings me back to the original modern warfare days. Are there some balance issues? Sure there are, but what’s an FPS without balance issues. That’s why god invented patches, ladies and gentlemen.Long story short, I like the game, and I would definitely pick it up now, when you can get it for $20 cheaper. It’s a good bit of nostalgia, and a solid FPS. Would recommend!

Best Call of Duty game in a long time. Campaign was awesome (short, sadly), graphics in the cutscenes are absurdly good. Facial expressions, especially so.Multiplayer is a lot of fun and this is the first CoD game in years that has gotten all of my friends playing together again, really great game.

Campaign had some great storytelling although rather short. Multiplayer is pretty difficult and the maps are confusing at first because they went away with the 3 lane system. After some getting used to they are some of the coolest maps to play on and I’m loving the verticality and depth. Ground war is absolutely brilliant. By far the best looking call of duty ever made and the sound is incredible. If you lost faith in call of duty years ago like most gamers, this will revive the franchise. It’s a must buy

It’s been a few years since playing C.O.D. and this game brought me back to when the series was in glory days. Fun game and love how you can now play with PC gamers now. Was delivered way faster than I thought which meant I got to play it sooner.

I cut my teeth as an online gamer with the COD franchise. For many years it was a lot of fun… then it swiftly died. Became something too “Halo” while Halo was still better at being itself. Essentially, COD lost what made it special…Fast forward to today, and this is a welcome return to the genesis of the franchise. This type of game is what I’ve been looking for from COD for the last 12+ years. Finally!I’m not a fan of microtransactions, in fact, I hate that others will buy what should be earned. I hate the small windows they open to achieve an unlock. Some of us haven’t the time to “grind”… and our schedules are set by real life duty, NOT pleasure. There’s room to improve. Yet I’m pleased to see a return to the formula that made COD into something. Keep the classic vision. “New Coke” died a swift death… don’t do it with this franchise anymore. PLEASE!

Anybody rating it below four stars or complaining about all these problems well don’t listen to them because I haven’t seen one problem never heard one person have a problem, plus it hasn’t even been a full week for them to fix any bugs that may happen also you can report any problems that may happen. The reviews on The Xbox store really does not do this Game justice because those people don’t know how to review or sThe Xbox store really does not do this game justice because those people don’t know how to review and are whiners that they didn’t get everything pinpoint right day one. They could get some better maps and tweak a thing or two but still fun.

Feelings about Modern Warfare are understandably mixed. The campaign, though breathtakingly realistic, overplays how edgy it is while neglecting to say anything meaningful. The multiplayer adds more content and customization than ever before, but is plagued by questionable level design and poor matchmaking. And the Spec Ops mode is, well, indiscriminately terrible. These flaws aside, Modern Warfare is a faithful reboot of the sub-series. The audiovisual quality of this game sets the industry standard—and its gunplay is the most satisfying I’ve ever seen. Overall, I can’t shake the feeling MW is a patch or two away from near-perfection. As for the player base: I’m really disappointed with how the community has treated Infinity Ward. 2016 is over. And the infinite hatefare needs to stop. They have easily given us the most content rich and consumer friendly CoD of this console generation. There’s simply no reason to pounce on them without apology for every design flaw. News flash: All games have them. Modern Warfare—a solid shooter with problems like all other games—is an irrefutable counterargument to #InTreyarchWeTrust. If you care about this franchise, support this game. It’s a leap in the right direction.
