These people reviewing this game are full of it, at least most of them. I’ve never played the first COJ, but for what this is, it’s awesome. I love games where I am killing real people and I am slighlty tired of the typical war games. This game was a breath of fresh air for me to be honest. I buy on average 3 to 4 games a month and I play all types, but mainly FPS. So basically, if you love FPS games and are tired of military games then I highly recommend that you purchase this game. Most everything said in these reviews are over-exaggerated. They are just pissy because they took a different route this time. Don’t ever listen to people like these, because they are unable to properly judge something for what it is versus their personal preference and emotional attatchments.

Not sure why this game is getting horrible reviews but it is very fun. I bought it for around $9, and couldn’t be happier. If you don’t play online I would defiantly pass. Online is where the game shines. It runs flawlessly on my 1mb connection. The leveling up system is awesome, along with all of the challenges you have. I find it laughable people complain about the graphics looking like something from the original Xbox, the game is fine. The main problem I see is that you play a lot of the same maps over and over, but they are still fun. I was a big fan of Call of Juarez “Bound in Blood” and I’m disappointed they do not have capture the flag or the “Wanted” game-mode. The other negative is that it can sometimes be hard to find a game online. If nothing else give the game a try for the online play.

I didn’t have high expectations for this game, so I wasn’t expecting much. The graphics are not par to today’s graphics, but that’s not what matters. It’s all about the storyline and gameplay here, and that’s where the enjoyment’s at. I personally have been having fun, for the time I’ve spent with this game.I’d think this game would be call something like SWAT: The Cartel, as it’s mainly about different government agencies (DEA, FBI, PD) working together to bring down a cartel. You get to play as three main characters, all with a different aspect of the storyline, so playing as each will be a different experience. This game has online multiplayer, as well as coop with up to two friends in the main storyline. The coop is a lot of fun, I wouldn’t exactly get this game for the multiplayer.I’d say this game is worth $40 at most, so rent it for the enjoyment with your friends, then return it when you’re done. I bought it at full price ($62.99) and I’m happy with my purchase, but that’s just me.

i am having lots of fun. i dont care that it has nothing to do with the previous games.only gripe i have is the enemies are usually far away and can be difficult to aim at.but overall it is a fun shooter if you’ve already finnished FEAR3 and don’t know what to play until the fall games.
