After the mediocre review it received I almost regreted my preorder. But now, after finishing the second world I can say that it is a really good platformer with nice graphics and totally worth of your time and money, even better if you buy the bundle.

Dear Chibi Robo,I’ve only spent a short amount of time with you, but I’m already in love. Your small, cute, and can fit in my pocket with me where ever I go. I was worried you would disappoint me when we first met, due to other reviews I read. I was right in choosing my gut instinct over those. Your a fun platforming game that feels fresh and new. The zip lash mechanics feel great, the levels are inventive, the soundtrack is exciting, and your levels are pretty long. I know your not the same robot I met back on the gamecube, but you’ve brought a great smile to my face playing my 3DS lately, and your Amibo is fantastic, one of the best. You might had an odd way of moving to new levels with the spin wheel, but that’s easily overlooked due to being able to buy the space panels you need, so I can forgive it.

This game didn’t get the best of review but it is really quite fun. My young son absolutely loves the Amiibo function and this game was a huge hit with him.At time of purchase the price was around $22 USD.

After reading online reviews from IGN, Gamespot and others… I was skeptical about opening up the game and playing it. I thought to myself, "should I just return it without opening it for a full refund?".I just said "meh~" and tried my luck for the $40 bucks I paid for the bundle. Wow… was I pleasantly surprised. This is actually a lot more fun that some other good 3DS titles. Those online reviews could have steered me away from a mighty fine game which I am really glad that I took my chances!!!I give it a definite 9/10 for the gameplay. 10/10 for the cute chibi-robo amiibo! Get it! You won’t regret it!

Esta entrega de la franquicia sin duda es algo muy distinto a sus antecesores ya que cambiÃ³ su gameplay tradicional para convertirse en un side scroller con mecÃ¡nicas interesantes, pero que no terminan de convencer a quienes esperan otra cosa de un titulo de Chibi Robo, cosa que no hace malo al juego, simplemente distinto.En cuanto a la figura, es un gran amiibo, muy bien esculpido, aunque sigue la linea de poca interacciÃ³n con los juegos que caracteriza a Nintendo.En envÃo tardo un poco, pero llego sin problema al final y sin ningÃºn tipo de daÃ±o, y claro a un super precio.

I’ll start by clearly stating, this game is by no means bad. I preordered this bundle, (mostly for the amiibo let’s be honest here) and was incredibly excited for it to be on its way. This was to be my first experience with good ol’ Chibi, and I had high hopes that it would leave a positive impression. Enter the subpar reviews. I usually read or watch a review prior to purchase of a game, just to make sure I’m getting my money’s worth, and when I saw the scores I was shocked and kind of scared. Despite skepticism I refrained from cancelling the order, and I’m glad I did. I love this game so far. It has charm, strong characters, tight platforming elements, and the amiibo functionality is by far the best Nintendo has put out yet. I keep my amiibo by my 3DS as I play, because you use it rather frequently. The only negative things I have to say about the game involves a mechanic called the "Destination Wheel". Basically, instead of choosing levels, or simply progressing to the next, harder level in a stage, you must rely on a randomized number wheel that consists of a random of assortment of the numbers 1,2, and 3. Whatever number you land on, is the amount of spaces you move, which means the classic progression system of the past has been thrown out the window. Keep in mind, there are remedies to this problem. The developers have provided you with the option to purchase numbers to put on the wheel, so if you only want to move one space you can purchase all 1’s (with in-g.

Where to begin? Even though i’m familiar with the gameplay of the original Chibi Robo, this is my first actual Chibi Robo game. Now most people were ranting saying things like "This is not the Chibi Robo we know!" and "It’s just another stupid platformer." Although yes it is a platformer, it’s quite unique. You use your trusty whip to defeat enemies and go through obstacles. I will admit the only thing that caught my eye with this game was the Amiibo that came with it so I decided to try it. But i’m glad I tried it. I give it a 4 out of 5 star rating because the game itself is fun, unique, colorful, and kind of cute. However, the gameplay is quite repeating. If you ask me, I consider this game as a "Super Mario Bros in a nutshell." That isn’t a bad thing though. I recommend this game for anyone who is looking for a platformer with a little twist. If your not into the basic, somewhat repeating platform action, then this isn’t the game for you.

I don’t get the hate for this game. It’s FUN. collecting everything in every level is great, especially the real life snacks. I’m 30, I love platformers, and I have four kids that are going to enjoy this game after I 100% it. The destination wheel is NOT THAT BAD, people! Screw the reviews, try it out yourself.

Fun but could be more entertaining! I haven’t played any of the previous Chibi-Robo games so this was the first in the series for me. I love the theme, the idea of the game, and the characters. Unfortunately, this game lacks in the "challenge" factor and the controls are tricky to use. This would be best for someone who like super easy but fun games. In comparison, New Super Mario Bros 2 brings a lot more the the table! The amibo itself is adorable and unlocks some cool things! :)

This is a really fun little game! Though while the levels are really good, everything around them is kinda subpar. I still say it’s worth playing for the main levels themselves though, especially if you’re a fan of exploration in your platformers. Plus, the Chibi Robo amiibo is the best one yet!

Amiibo figure is great! Details are very nice and he’s adorable.New platformer style for the game is fun and has the charm of the old title but I still personally enjoyed the open world of the last game more.Great installment to the series though, I recommend it if you love chibi robo and puzzle/platformer games!

Despite reading the lukewarm reviews of this game in video game media, I kept my pre-order and am really glad I did, because I have not been disappointed. This is a delightful puzzle platformer full of adorable characters, with great progression and fun to be had.GRAPHICS:While not quite as great as the graphics in Kirby Triple Deluxe, that graphics are really good. Chibi-Robo has a very well-done "shiny" effect, as do most of the enemies, and the environments are colorful with goods textures for a portable console. The only thing that might put some people off is that the environments are very clearly constructed out of blocks, but that shouldn’t bother fans of Nintendo platformers. I had no framerate issues and really enjoyed what I saw.AUDIO:Some of the reviews in gaming media said the sound track was forgettable, and I really do not understand where they were coming from. I LOVE the soundtrack so far, and had the main theme stuck in my head for most of the weekend. The music matches the environment you’re in very well, it’s upbeat and cheerful, and the sound effects of the main character and enemies are of very good quality. Some of the tunes are a little "stereotypical" for their environments (i.e. the desert theme), but this is a minor complaintGAMEPLAY:For the most part, this is a standard run of the mill platformer with two twists. Product was delivered great. Little bit of a smudge on Chibi’s forehead, but he still works. If only the game were more like the Gamecube game and not Zip Lash. Hang in there Chibi, you’ll get a good game again one day.

A fully serviceable platformer, and I love the amiibo that comes with it. My biggest gripe with the game is the spinner after finishing a level. If you don’t time your pick right, you could be replaying a few levels just to get a chance to get back to the one you need to finish to get off of that world. Easier to get around once you have some extra money in game to buy the spinner you need.
