This visual novel is absolutely fantastic. However, to clear things up, this is a SEQUEL to the first "game" (though I prefer to say "visual novel"). The first game is called "Code: Realize Guardians of Rebirth." It is IMPERATIVE that you play through that FIRST installment before starting this game. That being said, this sequel is incredible. This series has captured my heart in a way that no other has in a long time. I daydream about the breathtaking art, storyline, and characters. After playing I simply had to buy the art book as well. If you played the first Code: Realize and enjoyed it, you will love this. It gives you more insight into the point of views of other characters from the first game, gives you new character storylines to choose from, and just keeps that warm and fuzzy feeling you got from the first game going strong. I cannot say a single bad thing about this game, nor the series. Also keep in mind that games such as this (Otome games and cmvisual novels) do not have animation. They consist of still-frame sequences. They are beautiful, descriptive, and leave much to the imagination – another thing I love about this gsme. This sequel does NOT disappoint. – Sofia

As the sequel to Code:Realize Guardians of Rebirth, the game takes place exactly one year later. Each of the main hero routes were an epilogue of their relationship with Cardia, lasting about 2-3 hours long. All were super sweet and really romantic. (This only confirmed that Lupin is still the best!) Then we have three extra side stories – where the gang gets involved with the Mafia, what if Finis changed and an opportunity to fall with Herlock Sholmes. These side stories take place during the first game as if they were possible route choices. These took about 4+ hours to finish.I would not recommend this game unless you have played the first one. Otherwise, the story will not make sense. They do a quick rehash for returning players but it would not be enough for non-returning ones. So, be aware. Also, this is a true blue visual novel. Meaning there isn’t a lot for players to really do but read. Most routes (except Finis and Sholmes) do not have decision making. So unless you are a fan, this is not for you.As a fan of the first game, I love it! Because this is what I wanted. (I wish more visual novels did this.) When the first game ended, I wanted more to the ending and Future Blessings does it. Also, it gives you an opportunity to get with Holmes, which I wanted for the first game. If you plan on playing Wintertide Miracles, you will need to play this first. My only tiny complaint would be the price for the amount of gameplay. There are no real extras. Y.
