This is one of my favorite games of all time.If you are trying to choose between this, and the original, choose this one. It is two games in one! You can easily play without the dragons if you want. Plus, since the board is bigger, playing without the dragons is more fun. Players can enjoy feeling safe and boating along for a while… and then chaos when everyone starts to converge. One game I played had a three way tie! It was pretty cool.Awesome art and great game pieces.

I still play this (with the extra spaces) just like the original. I have played it once using the dragons and the game dragged on forever. Even the person that brought the game said that it was taking too long. spaces were being cleared out in front of boats and people kept placing tiles. Perpetual madness machine. It was an oddity I am sure but even before we were very far into the game some people that have played Tsuro before thought it was taking too long to move the dragons every turn. the dragons could also set up an infinite loop, something not possible in the original.I am biased and wish I could give it 4.5 stars because it still plays well and I like the idea of moving boats, keeping them from falling over the edge of the world. The original you are moving stones for some unknown reason? but the way this game is meant to be played just adds something unnecessary. Maybe I do not like that it adds a great deal more chance; mostly I do not like the longer play time.I suppose if I were to buy this again I would again struggle with the version I was to buy. The art is very nice, the theme is better, you get more tiles, I just don’t care for an added element that you don’t really need. I do not like partitioning off the board so I use the extra 15 spaces and it does slow things down by about five to ten minutes per game but it is still a great filler game that can accommodate plenty of people while everyone is still arriving for game night. This is still a five.

Like the Tsuro game with added dragons! You can get blown out of the water midcourse by having a dragon slide up on the tile next to you, or you can get pushed off the board edge as the tiles move. You can also use this board and pieces to play the originalk Tsuro game. I preferred the old Tsuro pieces to this plastic ships. The old pieces were more elegant and had a nkice feel.

I like this game because kids who do not read well yet can play, it is basically putting together a maze in such a way that their poor aunt goes off the edge of the board. When playing with kids I do not use the dragons, as they do not find it fun when they are randomly killed off. I like that this is a game that can be enjoyed by kids and adults at the same time.

I’ve played it with some adults and some kids (ages 8-13). The kids always have a Blast! Games are typically in the 15 minute range, which is good because the kids stay focused. The adults have fun, however, for me, it could get a little boring after a couple of plays. What I mean is – I can play the game everyday – I just wouldn’t play it more than two times in a row.The dragons make the game random but at the same time exciting. However, because of them, most of the time you are just trying to run away and hide, so there is not too much focus on trying to trap or eliminate other players. You can play the original rules which make it more strategic, but the pace of the game will be slower (or more relaxed – depending on how you look at it).

Our family of three, us parents and our 7 year old, we love this game. We play it often and always have fun. My son learned how to play just fine. I always look forward to playing it. A family favorite, for sure!Since buying it, we bought it for another family. Not sure how they like it, but we loved it enough to want others to know about it. So that’s a good sign!

Tsuro of the Seas is one of those games that isn’t too competitive and very laid back. It doesn’t require too much skill and could be played for almost all ages for a fairly large amount of people. It’s a game that’s very easy to learn, very easy to get into and also…very easy to lose interest in…if you’re not careful. One of the great things about Tsuro of the Seas is that it has dice mechanics. Which means there is luck involved. However, this game could be played just like the original Tsuro by removing the dice and the dragons for an even more pleasant and easy going gaming experience. but, even with the tension of dice rolling involved and the impending doom of ferocious dragons, the game has a slow pace that seems to fluctuate its speed between slightly fast and steady throughout a single gameplay.Tile placement and drawing can get a bit tedious and most smart players often stay on the edge of the board, avoiding the majority of the dragons which means avoiding most of the action. The core mechanic of this game rely solely on the dragons the dice movement, which is actually a very cool idea until someone gets eliminated in which case they sit around and roll dice for the dragon movements and even then the level fun drops by about a fraction. And when there are 3 or less people still remaining the board the game seems to drag-on (no pun intended). In some cases, you’d probably to have implement "House Rules" to keep the game going and more interesting.I don’t.

se ve bonito en mesa, facil de jugar , para invitar a jugadores poco habituales .

Quick to pick up and can be played like the original or with the dragons which cause havoc on the board.
