I haven’t been able to play this game as much as I would have liked but for the few times I was able to I really enjoyed it. I took it to babysit with me the day I got it and at first the kids thought it would be stupid but then they were begging me to leave it with them and wanted to keep playing. There is a tutorial that I STRONGLY suggest paying attention to or else it may be hard to figure out what you are doing. Even with watching the tutorial it took a little while for us to figure it out.The game makes you think and you use your brain to think of creative answers and ways to solve the puzzles. I definitely would recommend this game to older kids and adults.

I purchased this game thinking that it was some sort of coloring game that my younger child could play. I was wrong. This really isn’t a game for little kids to play alone. It’s a problem-solving game for smart, creative people of any age. My husband and sons sit on the couch together, figure out the puzzles, try out their ideas and laugh and shout when things go right or wrong. As the levels progress, it really takes some thinking to reach the goal. So far, the game involves moving an item from one place to another using a set of objects to overcome obstacles and earn points. The objects include such items as balloons, rockets, planes, ramps, spike balls, magnets, motorcycles, go-carts, fans, glue, trucks, etc. Then to finish the level, you add plants, buildings, animals, paint, weather, and other decorations to the scene to earn points. I enjoy that part of the game best, but the guys don’t! This is not the game for everyone, but it is a great game. Make sure you read the directions before you start, it isn’t self-explanatory.

I wrote a previous review & it wasn’t posted. I’m glad. My first review rated this game as horrible. I was having a hard time understanding any of it to be honest.I decided to sit down alone with it & within about 15 minutes I had mastered the ways to move & what was expected of the puzzles. It’s not a simple game. I taught my 7 year old how to play it. He has made it through about 15 levels on his own, but you need to be there with them to offer them suggestions or they may get frustrated. You also need to understand how to work the game yourself if they get “stuck”This is an excellent game if you are willing to sit with your young child while they play it.It teaches children how to think through difficult situations & find a solution. We now love this game. We have about 30 Wii games & this is our favorite. Everyone fights over who gets to play it first.Younger children can just “free play” They can paint the sky, build rockets, cars & things that blow up. You basically build a giant scene & then press a go button. The scene comes to life.My biggest tip is to follow the initial turorial. It will not let you advance to the levels unless you follow it exactly. I did not do that at first (who needs directions?) & I thought there was something wrong with the game.

Bought this for my son. He said he liked that it is easy to use and has a broad selection of items to choose from. The reason he didn’t give it 5stars is because he would like to be able to put a controllable character into the world, and he would prefer to not have the budget bar that limits what one can put in the world you create. Overall, it has been fun to use.

Great game for problem solving to get to new levels. Easy for a 11 year old to do or an adult. My 7 year old had some issues at first. But we love the game.

Our twins adore this. It takes patience, concentration and definitely kids who appreciate a challenge. They play minecraft as well, and though this is a similar idea, they advise the rewards make this fun to achieve. It also has many levels with eye-catching graphics, mellow sound effects, and downtempo background tunes that do not irritate other household members while this is being played ;)

We have had this game for about a month. It is being played by me (I’m 41) and my two daughters, ages 8 and 10. We all love it! That being said, I can understand why some people hate this game.It is critically important that you go through the tutorial at the beginning. In fact, I went through it twice, since I didn’t quite “get it” the first time through. But, once I got it, wow! There are almost endless ways to solve each puzzle. Half the fun in our household is to see how each of us comes up with solutions to the puzzles. My daughters often tell me, after I solve a puzzle, that they did it totally differently. One of the things I love most about this game is that it forces us to use items in ways they were never meant to be used. That might sound simple, but it’s actually quite hard to get past the intended purpose of an item and use it for something else. I often feel a bit like McGyver while playing this, for those who get the reference.Lastly, I want to say that I am NOT good at puzzles. In fact, I usually hate them, because my brain just doesn’t think that way. Yes, this IS a puzzle-type game, but not in the typical sense. This is more like throwing things together and seeing what happens.Tips: – Go through the tutorial at least once, and do EXACTLY what it tells you to do. – Press the “Go” button at the beginning of a puzzle to see what happens before you do anything to manipulate it. This is something I do often, because sometimes I just don’t get what need.
