This game is very different from the other 4 adventure games City Interactive has released for the Nintendo DS. Those are quite easy – but this one is very difficult – the puzzles will keep you very busy in this game. Many true adventure sites have rated this an “A” quality adventure game – and I must agree with that. Great story, nice graphics and very lengthy gameplay. I really enjoyed it. Clues do indeed abound–what to do next, where to go, and which locations to travel too – so if you play carefully you can make it through this game.So – if you found the other 4 rather easy and are up for a true challenge – this game will be a real treat – same price as the other four, same great story and graphics – but with this one you get tons of well integrated challenging puzzles to solve.

I’ll be honest and say I have not played it much. But since I bought it I say go for it and challenge yourself.

View from a 12 yr old girl – feels that this is challenging but very fun. Hadn’t heard of it until read description when looking for new games to get with her DSI. Would recommend for others.

I love this game yeah its not like my csi: ny or csi its self but its fun and challenging. If you like Challenge and solving crime this is the right game for you.

Another Mystery game bought and was well liked. Bought as a gift and they said it was addictive. I would purchase again.

I got this last night and I played for a few hours. This isn’t a full on in depth review, but more so what I have experienced so far. Basically you are an FBI agent that is tasked with bringing a serial killer to justice. The serial killer knows that you are on to him so that makes the game a little more interesting as to how it may turn out. The game seems to be split up into different types of games in one. If you were or are a fan of games like Crime Scene, CSI, or Crime Scene Investagations, and Millionheir on the DS, then you will like this game. The game resembles Crime Scene and CSI in the fact that A.) The graphics appear cartoonish…which is cool IMO. B.) The areas that you investegate are all still backgrounds…no animation, but the mood music is pretty good so far. Seek and Find portions of the game are done very well. You aren’t looking for off the wall objects like a pair of scuba diving flippers…but if you were, you would have to find them, then more and likely use luminol to detect if there is any blood present, use a swab, and put the evidence in the evidence bag. For example the first task is when your boss tells you about the case and the main character tells her boss she is on it…then says she needs to go to her office to get her belongings. When you get to your office, you are standing in front of her desk and a list of objects are then displayed that you have to find within a certain amout of time. These items are items that you will need.

If you’re like me and you enjoy point and click adventure games on the DS, you’ve probably already played all the really good ones such as the Phoenix Wright series, Trace Memory, 9 Hours 9 Persons 9 Doors, etc. And if you’re like me, then you probably also started tapping into the less known ones like the CSI games and Unsolved Crimes. If you’ve gotten to the point where you’ll pulling this game out of obscurity, then you’re pretty desperate. So, this is where I find myself, playing what is probably going to be my very last adventure game on the DS platform since everyone’s moving over to the 3DS (and I will too, of course). I basically have no expectations of glory and greatness out of this game, but I expect a half-decent experience much like Unsolved Crimes or the CSI games are. So, does "Crime Lab" hold up? Let’s find out!Graphics (score 7/10): Pretty standard point n’ click adventure game stuff here for the backgrounds. They are static images that you just click on to find things. The character models are the sort that are mostly static images that change facial expression occasionally as part of the scene. This is not particularly impressive, but it’s what I expected and I’d call it about average for the genre.Music (score 7/10): The music itself isn’t too bad. It’s sort of generic detective game music – not too distinctive but nothing grating on the ears. I have noticed that the music seems to be on a 1 minute loop, and there’s always this awkward pa.
