First off, let’s get a break down of pros and cons:Pros:-Very accurate: Tells you what body part is moving wrong, tracks everything besides maybe the most minute wrist movement. Amazing technology by far.-Actual dancing: The dances are choreographed extremely well, and put into bite size chunks to learn the moves.-Amazing workout: Definitely made working out and sweating fun.-Good song list: Some may disagree, however, all these songs are made for dancing. Of course, it goes from Pop, to Techno, to old school Hip-Hop. Cannot say some songs are bad though, Hey Mami is one that makes me wonder what they were thinking.-Best dance game out now: No other system could do this right now, and Harmonix knows music games. If you have a Kinect, this is a must buy.Cons:-Expensive without owning Kinect: You are looking at $200 for a 360 owner, or $350+ for someone without a 360. Well worth it though for someone looking for a great dance/music game.-No simultaneous multiplayer: You can do dance battles at home with two people, but that is when trading back and forth. Maybe a technology issue, or design decision, but it would have been great to have cooperative gameplay.Cannot say much more, however, I can say after trying many other motion games that this was the most amazing one I have tried. Made the whole cost of Kinect worth it.

We got this game for the whole family. My 9 year old daughter loves it, and it’s helping her improve her coordination. I find that it’s also a great workout. My only qualms would be that two people can’t dance together at the same time. Also, I think that the difficulty level ratings are a little off. There are many songs that are labeled as difficult that are easier than the “less difficult” ones. Overall, its still a great game.

Ever since my friend showed me this game, I knew I was going to own it. Today, I set up my wall mount and went to town until I was exhausted. It is so much fun! I have realized that the more exaggerated my movements are the better. I tend to have to over shoot moves in order for then to register for whatever reason. There are songs on here that you are going to have to play even though you don’t like them. Some songs/dances are just uninspired and there are songs that I don’t like as a song that I have realized are really fun to dance to!All in all this game has tons of play again and nothing will make you feel more awesome that when you realize you can play a song without the flashcards. One issue I have had, I purchased the game that came with the 240 points because it was cheaper (for some reason) and the code on the card doesn’t work. I have tried it several times. I don’t know if anybody else had this issue. It does make me a little upset. I really wanted to get “Say Ahh…”

The game is very fun, I love it. Is practically a dance teacher. Esperando MJ: The Experience.

I debated on this one . . . I can’t dance, I’m a total klutz and I have injuries in my back and lower body. But the price was right and I went for it. I’m glad I did. It is the most fun Kinect game I have ever bought! I’m having a blast, losing weight AND learning how to dance. The songs may not be everyone’s favorite, so far I like the few I’ve played but you are not buying this just for the music. The purpose of this game is to get you moving. Even if you think the songs stink, you almost don’t pay attention because you are trying so hard to learn the moves. There are 3 levels – Easy, Medium and Hard. I’ve started at the Easy level. As you progress the other levels are unlocked. The songs are also laid out with dance style difficulty displayed – the songs near the top of the list are easiest to learn and they get progressively harder as you go down the list. All the different levels make this game triple the size. If you are not an experienced dancer, you can easily play this for a year before you’ve reached all levels. The Kinect does a good job of following your moves. It missed a few of mine but that is to be expected; nothing is perfect. The fun factor is here but the exercise factor is off the charts. I played this for 1 hour and I had sweat pouring off me – literally! I have used workout DVDs that didn’t make me sweat this much. If you have a bad heart you can still play this game but I would start on the easiest level and don’t over do it. You may only.

This is a great game that really shows off what the Kinect can accomplish. The accuracy of the tracking system is top notch and it goes into great detail when it’s teaching you all of the moves. My wife loves it, my sister loves it, and I flail around as though I’m having some sort of spasm. The tracking system is so good that I can’t quite gloss over my ineptitude as I can on Wii dance games. My arms and hands are constantly in the wrong spot as I can’t coordinate my entire body at the same time.Needless to say, the music selection is great, the DLC adds a lot to it and the teaching system gets me a lot farther than I would on my own. This game is definitely not for people like me, but if you can kind of dance than this can take you the extra mile and you’ll have a ton of fun doing it.Pros:Great teachingAmazing tracking systemFun songsGreat GraphicsCons:Not for people with two left feet

This game is not only fun, but it is a total workout! The music includes hits spanning several decades, so there is something there for everyone and includes variety in terms of dance styles. Each routine is given an overall difficulty rating, and then is broken down into three levels leading up to the most difficult version. For those who want to play for the cardio benefits, it has a workout mode that tracks how many calories you’ve burned. The only reason I’m giving it a 4 instead of a 5 is that they need to release more dance routines more frequently to keep the game new and challenging. There is downloadable content available to keep things fresh, but I’ve found that much of it is not as good as what comes with the game.Anyone can play this game. Fun in a group or alone.

  8. RR

We had friends over the first time we played this, and this game was a BLAST. I have two left feet when it comes to dancing, but it’s actually helping me figure out how to dance a bit better. It’s quite accurate and the dance instructor helps coach you along the way if you are a bit off. The other dancing game for Kinect is pretty bad, but this one is the shnizzle!

  9. Roby Safford

I don’t like to dance, especially in front of people. I am a large male from rural Nevada and I never had the opportunity to hone any sort of dancing skill other than Country, of which I never was much of a fan. This game has me enjoying dancing for the first time in my life. I have several kinect games including Kinect sports and this game is by far the Killer app for the Kinect. The movement tracking is almost one to one. I have yet to find a dance that either my wife or I have messed up that was the Kinect or the game’s fault. It has me dancing with my wife in my living room; this is completely improbable. To sum it all up – if you bought the Kinect you owe it to yourself to buy this game.
