Don’t listen to the people who rated this 1, 2 or even 3 stars. The game is a fantastic addition to the Danganronpa series, and just keeps on adding to the story. This gameplay might be different but it’s still Danganronpa to the core and still manages to give you that eerie feeling throughout the game. If you’re still reading then my only advice to you is to stop everything you’re doing and get this game!

Danganronpa another episode ultra despair girls is not a digital novel like the others. It feels like a older type action game, but it is far from just an adventure game. If you havent played the danganronpa series because you dont like digital novels you probably will still like this. This game is very story heavy and the story has a lot to do with the first two games, but the gameplay is still very fun.As far as gameplay you are in third person the whole time. You have a hacking gun which basically fires different "bullets" out of a police loudspeaker looking thing. This game has a lot of Dark Humor and the bullets make your enemies do funny things and kill them. Your enemies are almost always MONOKUMA(bear on cover) or different variations of him. You also fight bosses who kinda look like Transformers. You have a button to put the camera behind your character immediately so it IS NOT a game like on the old PSP third person games where the camera sucks and it is frustrating as hell. You also have a character with you who is a split personality serial killer called Genocide Jack who lets you use MELEE attacks. She cant be hurt and helps you take out massive amounts of enemies, but has a limited stamina bar so she cant be used too often. The last big gameplay thing I can think of is there are RPG elements where you pick up coins and books and stuff and level up different skills. Like life bar, stamina bar, and you can upgrade bullets for the hacking gun.SO this game.

El juego es excelente, asÃ nada mas; en Ã©sta entrega nos dan un spin-off canon de la saga principal. Con dos protagonistas muy especiales y adorables, una es una veterana de la saga y la otra, la principal, estÃ¡ relacionada con la franquicia de una manera simple pero contundente.En sÃ, es un juego que divierte mucho, es un poco diferente a los demÃ¡s ya que la acciÃ³n jugable es un "shooter" y un "hack and slash", pero por supuesto con el elemento clÃ¡sico de novela visual.Si se es fan de Danganronpa es un obligado para la colecciÃ³n; y creo que los que no son fans tambiÃ©n lo van a disfrutar mucho, aunque Ã©so sÃ, el juego tiene spoilers (enormes) de las anteriores entregas, pero si no te interesa jugarlos, no te arruinarÃ¡ para nada la experiencia de Ã©ste juego, porque cuenta con su propia gran historia.El juego llegÃ³ bien, sin daÃ±os, retrasos ni nada de lo que pueda quejarme.

The Danganrompa series is the only reason my Vita isn’t collecting dust at this point so I jumped at the chance to play this unique episode. Ultra Despair Girls manages to retain the quirky charm and self awareness of past, text-based Danganrompa games while mixing up the formula to include third person shooting elements. Somehow, it works. The game’s personality, however, goes a long way because if this was just some random Japanese shooter I would not have liked it as much. In fact, I wouldn’t have even played it. While the ability to select different truth bullets to shoot down Monokuma teddy-bots is inspired, the gameplay here is the weakest element but it’s existence is entirely appropriate given the premise. UDG features Komaru Naegi (adorable sister to D1’s "average" protagonist) as she banters and battles her way through a world overrun by demonic children and of course Monokuma(s) in all his robotic glory. Many other familiar faces from the past two games appear as well (UDG is set in between the first two games and bridges the narratives nicely). More than anything I appreciate that Another Episode gives us a chance to encounter the apocalyptic events only mentioned in past games first hand. We get a feel for scale of destruction and despair the world has fallen into. That alone is reason to experience this rather odd spin-off. Bottom like: if you liked those games and don’t mind a departure from the interactive novel approach you will probably love this gam.

A fun Resident Evil 4 Clone, always trows new elements at you and has an awesome style. But the reason to play it is the story, which twistedly fantastic.

Este juego tiene algunos problemas de gameplay que hicieron que a los fanaticos de Danganronpa no les gustara del todo pero en mi opinion, aunque no es tan bueno como los otros juegos de la franquicia, la historia es excelente, los puzzles que hay a lo largo del juego son interesantes y el gameplay no esta tan mal.

This game is a completely different style from the previous two games but just as fun. It is a shooter but it is not too difficult. It follows the general same style as the other games although the antagonist have some very interesting trauma. This game is technically a sequel so definitely play through the first game before this one and maybe the second one.

Great game! Fills the gap between game 1 and 2 and adds a new element to the series. The shooting elements and gameplay were great and the need to use different bullets for strategic gameplay is a great touch to get more involved in the series like never before. First 2 game it was more of reading a book compared to this installment.

A fun entry in the series. 4.5/5 stars. This game does a decent amount of world building and expanding on some of the established characters, while introducing some interesting new characters.The FPS elements were mostly well designed, with the sole annoyance being the odd headshot mechanic.A must for Toko Fukawa fans.

Danganronpa Another Episode: Ultra Despair Girls, takes a major departure from the rest of the Danganronpa series with its gameplay, being a third person shooter. My personnal playthrough lasted around 16 hours on normal difficulty (consider that I took my time playing it, and I didn’t discover every secrets.).The gameplay in itself is okay in my opinion: it’s a third person shooter, and it’s okay as far as third person shooters go. The whole mechanic with the different bullet types that have different effects is kinda fun, but they basically end up doing the same thing (killing ennemies). There’s a few that have unique effects, like "dance" that will make your enemies dance (obviously) and "link" that will make you control an enemy. However, if I’m being completely honest here, I just used these in the puzzle parts of the game, not really in the more action oriented sections. Thus, it makes this novelty not really used most of the time.I just mentionned "puzzles" in the game (which are refered to "arcade" sections or something like that). Without going too much into it (because there’s not much to say about it), they’re mostly okay, but towards the end they felt like an annoyance to me, seeing as there were too many of them and them mostly consisting in: kill all ennemies in one shot.I’d say where the game truly shines is in its story, which is really great, but the problem is that the story only begins to be interesting towards chapter 4, whi.
