I could not find the Nintendo flashback and this was a great "instead". Worked well for a surprise gift in the 30-40 age range and for their kids (little) too!!!

My husband wanted to purchase this one for his father for Christmas gift. We received it pretty fast even though holiday season.When his father received this gift, he was so happy. So, my husband and he played the game in two hours. They both had very good time with it.

I bought this for my children because while I want them to have some games, I don’t want to invest in a console, and I don’t want them to spend too much time gaming. The only reason I’m giving it four stars instead of five is because the games (being quite dated at this point) are very simple and lack decent graphics (which was totally normal at the time they were released.) Otherwise, I found this inexpensive, amusing (but not to the point of distraction,) and high quality. My tween and teens still play these, and have turned down my offers of a more modern console…which I think speaks volumes.

I got this a few Christmases ago for my dog, maybe when it first came out because I definitely did not pay in the upper $20’s for this! My dad still plays with this to this day and sometimes we play together. It’s got a bunch of games that he loves to play. He’s not really into any of the newer video games and it’s perfect for him to be nostalgic over. No issues with the controls, reminds me of my wii, just have nothing in the way.

We love this game console. It is a flash back to our youth. I would recommend it to folks who remember the games of the 80’s.

I already own the original Flashback, and Flashback 2. My Flashback 4 is on the way. Anyone that grew up in the 80’s and owned the original Atari 2600 will want to own the the Flashback 4 which now has wireless controllers and even more games.
