Great game. A must buy for all drakenguard fans.
Pros:- Good music.- Good story.- Interesting characters.- Good controls / gameplay mechanics.Cons:- I’m disappointed for the in-game graphics, I thought they would be better or at least match the cinematics, PS3 should be capable to render better graphics or at least they should’ve tried to make it look close to HD. In my opinion, it doesn’t look HD.- You have to buy a lot of DLC’s if you want to play the other character’s storyline.- Price dropped pretty fast, I should’ve waited to buy this.Overall a fun game if you like hack and slash RPG’s like Devil May Cry, God of War, X-Blades, etc.Just don’t get your expectations too high. Still highly recommended.

Typical hack and slash game, definitely sub par gameplay though. Personally I felt it had a great story even though it was a bit confusing at times. Loved the humor in the game and had a pretty great soundtrack.
One of my favorite games from the PS3. Fun stylistic fighting, great atmosphere, unique story, beautiful art style. Only downsides are occasional performance issues (manageable), punishingly hard final boss segment (not actually a fight), and graphical detail is mediocre by the system’s standard (not an issue for me). Very underrated game.

this is the first time i got into the Drakengard series , but i played Nier to its fullest so i have a good idea about the developers of this franchise .in general this is about a beautiful ( but grouchy n badmouthed ) intoner with a mission is KILL!!!! her sister intoners and Ruin their rule on the land and power of songs .graphics wise in gameplay its its a bit above mediocre yet the character models looks better compared to the environment , but the game is linear so its not a big deal ( unlike Castlvania LoS 1 for example )gameplay & controls are ok not to many complicated commands , as well you have 4 types of weapons Swords ( all rounder ) , spears ( Heavy hitters ) , Chackrams ( special for long range ) & Combat bracers ( close combat ) .sadly the so called disciples are worthless in the game and you will do most of the work , yet there gifts are not so bad for worthless AI’scharacters are interesting ( yet very weird as if its not your usual stereotypes ) , voice acting is good depending on the characters you like ( i loved Zero , four , two & one ) tho please mind the sexual themes in most of chatting between the characters , tho they are funny but mind your surroundings while playingstory is interesting and has quite the twists as i reached Ending A as writing my review , the music for the most part is Amazing .this game is fun and i recommend playing it in chunks for more enjoyment , and if you like to 100% the game than you’ll be sure your.

Boyfriend loves this game. I think the gameplay is pretty repetitive after a while.NOTE: There are multiple timelines to this game so playing through the first timeline is not the end and is not satisfying. Need to play all endings IMO for it to be a good game.The TRUE/last ending is beautiful, but super impossible to beat though.

Just as fun as the regular series, and has a great story line! Very fun game, but the only thing I noticed is in high intense graphic areas it can get a little glitchy. Not sure if it’s the game, or just my system, but it doesn’t do it every time. Also there is quite a bit of downloadable content for this game, so you can keep on going!

This game is so bad it’s good. Maybe saying it’s bad isn’t quite right. For a Square Enix game it does feel a bit unpolished, but the game is still a lot of fun. Overall it is like playing a Quentin Tarantino movie with its revenge-ish kill everyone on the list plot, dark humor, and over the top blood spraying.The game play is almost the exact same as the previous two Drakengard games. The one big change is that you can’t ride your dragon on command in the ground levels, but this comes with the trade off of more unique levels that wrap around the landscapes of various areas in the game, unlike the last two games that have a lot big open battle fields for ground levels. This game has a lot more dark humor throughout the game where the last two were just kind of dark. I really like all the things the enemies are yelling at each other as you mow them down with your sword and/or dragon.
