Very fun game. I have not played the first or second dead space but I love this one. It is also better playing with a friend than playing by yourself.

Item arrived on time, packaged well, undamaged, no complaints of any kind with purchase. I have played the game yet, so I’m rating the transaction, which was flawless. I’m currently half-way through the first Dead Space (yes, I’m very late to this necromorph party), but it’s easily one of the best PS3 games ever released. I’ve read that Dead Space 3 is visually different from the first two, and that seems to have bothered some people. We’ll see…..

    Excelent

Bought it for husband back in 2013. He loves video games. Good story line. I watched him going through missions and for me it was like watching a horror movie.

The story leaves much to be desired in some parts, but the rest of the game is a whole lot of fun. Multiplayer missions add some additional content, but it’s the wealth of difficulties that make this game replayable. From the easiest to hardest settings, and then special difficulties such as the equivalent of what Diablo 3 had for its hardest setting where you get only one life and no replays from start to finish; if you die, you start over at the beginning of the game.I give the game a 4/5 cause it isn’t perfect in some ways and falls back on a pay-to-win scenario for getting extra items and weapons/armor, but it’s still a fun entry.

    good game

  7. Brainslugged

The Dead Space games have been fantastic. The first two I couldn’t put the controller down and finished them in a week straight. DS3, while still great, doesn’t seem to be quite so good though. There seems to be quite a lot of backtracking in this installment – something I don’t remember from previous games. As a result I find that I start getting bored after a couple of hours of play, and after several weeks of on-and-off play, I still have a couple of chapters left to complete. Plus the whole gun-crafting method doesn’t seem to be as logical or rewarding this time, and the complete lack of an instruction booklet means sometimes it can be hard to know what button to push. For example, at one point you have to climb up a wall using a rope, and for the life of me I just couldn’t figure out how to swing across a small crack in the wall (for the record, I think it was L2). Not including an instruction booklet seems to be an annoying way for EA to save a few cents. Maybe I’m just getting old, or maybe the third installment of any series is going to feel a little more stale than the first couple of outings. It’s still a good game though.

  8. DramaBear

One of the best COOP game I played on PS3. It is very easy to connect online with a friend to play through the whole main storyline with a friend from the beginning to the end! The graphic is awesome even though it is a 2013 production. It was a little boring at first with all the cinematics, but the game-play progressively gets more interesting each chapter. The game is carefully designed that the puzzles are not meant to frustrate you, but to give you a heart pounding effect when your enemies are attacking you as you try to figure it out. If you like scary games and don’t like playing alone, this is definitely one of the game you can’t miss out on PS3.

    Flawless !

  10. max

This game is a lot of fun dark mysterious sci fi shooter that is even better when played co op. The game is around 30 a 35 hours and has a very good upgrade system and story mode.
