This port is amazing. I had the game on my Xbox for years and barely touched it. But on the switch I was able to play both portable and docked which helped me to finish it. Then for my 2nd play though I played on my Xbox. If this didn’t come out on the Switch I probably would never have completed one of the few masterpieces of this console generation.

If you know anything about the witcher then it is the fact that it is an absolutely beautiful game. You also may know that the switch is by far the least powerful console of this generation. That being said cdpr and saber interactive have managed to port one of the best rpgs of all time to this underpowered console. How have they done this, you might ask? Well, through lowering texture derail, running at a lower resolution and essentially squishing the game down to fit on a 32 GB game cartridge they have managed to get it to work. So do these downgrades take away from the experience? I don’t think so. Even though it doesn’t look as good as it did other consoles, you have to remember just how amazing it really was, I would say that this port looks comparable to the other AAA titles that came out the same year as the witcher, it just still looks good. The only real downside of this port is the frame rate does dip below 30fps from time to time, but I don’t really think it takes away from the joy of playing this game on the go. So who is this game for? I’d say it is for anyone who played the game on a different console who just want a reason to play it again or for people that have never played it but only have a switch. However, if you have never played it and do have a different console, play it there first so you get the full graphical experience and if you really love it, buy the switch version!I love this game and am so glad that they ported it to the switch, it is a fantast.

I’ve never played any of the Witcher games, or played Witcher 3 on PC or other major consoles. I purchased this with the expectation that it’d be a good game for Switch while I was traveling. It’s turned into a daily dose of awesome. I’ve looked at comparisons and while, yes, the graphics are scaled down, it is an absolutely amazing game. The fact I can play this on a hand-held is mind-blowing and it is 100% worth every penny spent. Toss a coin to your shop, buy Switcher 3!

I feel like the controls are just a little touchy on the switch, but I’m still playing and enjoying the heck out of it

I used to play this game on my PC and played through it. But having it now on the switch allows to play it everywhere. The controls are really good and the framerate is also great! If you like RPG’s – this is a must.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is a huge, open-world, western RPG. The “Complete Edition†is the full package, including all of the main game + both DLC campaigns. Here’s the thing: while the Witcher 3 looks far better on PS4/Xbox One (or especially PC) than it does on the Switch, the mere fact that it’s been ported to Switch is a technical marvel. The bottom line here is simple. The game plays smoothly. The load times are far quicker than they were for me on PS4. The frame rate keeps up at around a steady 30fps. The graphical downgrade, while definitely noticeable, is very passable and, on the small switch screen, looks just fine. It’s literally the entirety of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt all on one 32gb cart – no downloads required (not for the DLC, not for a patch). It’s all here. All included. And that’s just insane. Not only that, but the game comes with extra goodies that most companies wouldn’t even consider these days (i.e., map, manual, stickers).I can’t believe I’m playing this game on a portable system. I can’t believe it runs as well as it does – plays as good as it does. I’m so glad CDPR decided to go through the effort of porting this game to Switch; so glad Saber Interactive worked hard to make it worthwhile. If you haven’t played The Witcher, it’s an amazingly detailed, well crafted RPG. If you have and are on the fence about buying it again, it’s discounted $10 already – you can play it on-the-go – and you can support CDPR for doing something most companies aren’t willing.

First of all, the game is amazing. I won’t be going into this because there are OODLES of reviews and critiques on the game itself. I will be talking about the technical issues that are a lot less than I expected from such a game on the switch. The first are the graphics. They have taken a hit but most of the really noticeable stuff is environment stuff which I’ve never taken to inspecting them closely so it didn’t really bother me. It’s mostly noticeable as you travel on your horse which admittedly is a common occurrence but never so bad that it worsened my experience. The characters and the cutscenes are absolutely GORGEOUS for a switch game that is this large.Bugs are an issue and I can’t speak to whether or not this is a switch specific thing or not so I’ll just describe my experiences here. Trees sometimes have an odd black box surrounding their entirety that flickers in and out (probably the invisible edges of the 3d model but I’m no expert), the stamina bar doesnt visually drain as you run on foot out of combat but you will still run out of stamina and have to restart running and such (it’s supposed to drain on running and jumping, just doesn’t show visually for some reason), some inventory/menu management hiccups that make things a little more annoying and cumbersome but nothing really too bad, and some pretty regular movement bugs while on the horse (not the pathfinding which has issues sometimes but occasionally when I go to turn on the joystick the controls are inve.

11/10. This is one of the best games I’ve ever played. I got it on xbox too it’s so great. I do recommend playing on handheld mode due to the reduction of graphic quality on a big screen t.v.

I’ve bought it to use Russian voiceover. According to CD Project info there is support of russian voice and text for version HAC-P-AURVE – this is the code on the box. But the code on card is LA-H-AURVE.When you first start the game it asks to download an update. After download I can select Russian as text but there is no option for Russian Voiceover.I will change my review to 5 stars if you fix the issue. Or I will just return the game.UPDATE: I was able to FREE DOWNLOAD RU Voiceover DLC from eShopHave fun and enjoy
