My baby loves this show
I really enjoy watch Buddy and his familar (family) on the television. Thought I would get some great tips on baking from the boss.
I love this show because the cakes always turn out beautiful and the star and his sister Mary keeps the drama and intensity of a regular reality show. At the same time, the show is lighthearted and family oriented.
As expected.
Love the show and more then anything, I love the family values. We identify with the crazy Italian family antics and love that no matter what, much like our family, what’s most important is having each other. The business is great, but family comes first.
If you are a NJ native as I am (now living in SC) the Cake Boss is a great way to see the "Garden State". This show represents NJ, it’s people, families, and what it’s like to do business there. Funny and down to earth, and the cakes are awesome. Watch and enjoy!
it’s fun for the whole family, for all ages even now. Buddy is hilarious and has the best ideas sometimes…sometimes not…

There seem to be no holds barred, though at times, there might be just a wee bit of drama added for special effect. Regardless, this is the presentation of the daily life of an incredibly gifted baker, cake decorator, and business man. The show is currently being seen on TLC, which also gives us “Ultimate Cake Off”. This is a 2-disc DVD set that contains 13 episodes plus some great bonus features of deleted scenes, an episode of “Ultimate Cake-Off”, and “Mary’s Moments” in which one of Buddy’s sisters (who is a character all in herself) has a couple of prima donna moments.Buddy Valastro is the “boss” of Carlo’s Bakery located in Hoboken, New Jersey.
